Jamison on 710

Post#1 » by kblo247 » Thu Mar 21, 2013 1:24 am

Jamison on being in D'Antoni's doghouse earlier in the season: "To be honest, I have no idea what happened--but I stayed positive"

Jamison on Dwight: "I think Dwight looked at the mirror and said 'I just gotta go out there & play'--This guy is a dominant force"

AJ on Kobe: "This guy is a different dude--I love a guy who expects so much from his teammates & pushes his teammates"

AJ on Kobe: "He only wants to do is win a championship. I've never seen anybody as focused & dedicated. Those are the type I call 'legends'"

AJ on Kobe adjusting: "It takes time for him to trust us--The thing he's learning now is he can trust us" #CountonKobe

Jamison: "Kobe will tell you 'Yell at me, let me know you're open because I'm so programmed that I see nothing but that basket'"

Jamison: Dwight on defense will tell Kobe 'Get to your location!' and Kobe will later respond 'Appreciate it big fella, I needed that'"

Jamison on chemistry: "Even though there's been some roadblocks & tough times, its good to finally see the chemistry come along" #GoLakers

Jamison: "I didn't come here to just make it to the playoffs--I came here to win a championship"

Jamison:"My mindset is this can be the best story of all sports--w/ the bickering, what would they say when we start meeting expectations?"

Antawn Jamison (#UNC) says his best friend on the team, despite the rivalry, is Chris Duhon (#Duke) @CDuhonStandTall

Jamison on playing for @Lakers: We might've had only 2 arenas w/o a #Lakers home court advantage: OKC & San Antonio #LakersNation #GoLakers

Thought this would be nice to pass along. Love Jamison on this team and hope he returns next year.

I was very excited when we signed him last summer more so honestly than getting Nash. I didnt say anything but was disappointed awhile during the first half of the season. Glad he is becoming an integral part of this team. His way around the basket is so unique and fascinating..

I didnt blame him for Brown ... That dumbass played him at SF when he hadn't played that spot since 2001, hard to blame a player there

I love what AJ had to say! If we're going to have ny success in the playoffs this year it won't be without significant contribution from Jamison!!!

Are you guys as anxious as I am to get Kobe and Pau back? I feel like we've waited all year to see our whole team in action!

We have a stretch of mediocre teams to play rest of this month, I prefer having Kob and Pau sit out and rest as much as they can.

Got to build some sort of chemistry and cohesion together though, no?

@loverofsports: "You ever watch that show Dexter? He's like that." RT @LakersNation Antawn: "I've never seen anyone as focused and dedicated as Kobe!"

Lmao that is an interesting comparison AJ added which was omitted earlier when I posted

That's the problem, while it would be nice to see the main guys getting some rest they still haven't had any time to build chemistry on the court.

Yeap, have to integrate Pau into what there doing and figure out their new rotations with him.

Wouldn't surprise me if both Clarks/Jamisons minutes go down but if I was D'antoni, I would limit Pau to 30 minutes a game and play Clark/Jamison based on matchups and how each is playing.

he was the guy I hoped mgmt. would target last off-season....was bias not to criticize him during the beginning, glad he's proven his worth.

Would be pissed trying to block his shots for a full game. They are all so varied you never know when the **** he will release it or how high

But we wont. :( its so sad we wont get to see Jordan Hill play with this team this year. He is such a great hustler, a really REALLY good offensive rebounder and tries to destroy the rim whenever he has the chance....

And his release is so damn quick too. His game to me is like the perfect balance between beautiful and awkward.

He's always been a lousy defender, but his touch around the rim is amongst the best throughout the whole league. Not to knock him but there's a BIG BIG difference between his shots and Howard's. Sometimes D12 takes like some 100mph rocks at the rim, but Jamison's shots on the other hand are so damn soft, he's right up there with ZBo. D12 needs to learn a thing or 2 from Jamison on O. He's always been one of my favorite players to watch execute on offense.

Hope you're not talking about me, cuz i wasnt one of them, i had no idea why MDA benched him, and the timing of it was weird too, he was just coming off one of his best games as a Laker

But MDA's decisions are just weird, he even benched Jordan Hill, as much as he hustles...
