I just read a mock draft, and it said we have no picks (if we make the playoffs)

I thought we had 1 or 2 second rounders this year, one from the marcus morris trade and one from the knicks trade???

I hope we have some second rounders because they have some talent falling to the second round

tim hardaway jr (who I really like, but I must have only caught him on good games because no one likes him as much as I do)

cj leslie
patric young (really like him, too. could become a chuck hayes type on d- only taller and definitely without the court vision)

forgot to mention that kadji guy from Miami (and larkin if he goes against his word and comes out) I only have seen 2 Miami games but I liked both of them alot

I tried to like Tim Hardaway Jr just because I'm such a huge fan of his dad, but yea he's nowhere even close to that. Don't put too much hope into that jar.

if the lakers have more meltdowns like last night against the wiz, our chances of getting howard increase just a bit...lol...the more he feels miserable in LA...the better for us... :wink:

I say we use our cap space to sign free agents JJ Redick and JJ Hickson. And then trade for JJ Barea.

Do you think OKC would of demanded Drummond had Morey got him? or would it have been possilbe to have have Drummond & Harden?

iirc The Kings were going to trade their pick to Houston if Trob was gone at 5. I think they were gonna add one of Tyreke or Cousins for Lowry too I forget what was going on.

Win shares is kind of a funky stat, and win shares per 48 even more so. Danny Green over Stephen Curry...DeJuan Blair over Ricky Rubio...and so on. You get the idea.

-BUT- If anybody wanted to make a case for Harden as the best player to come out of the 2009 draft, I would be on board with it. I would agree with them.

No question that both WS & WP are very much flawed stats. Flawed or not, though, I just couldn't resist bringing up that Beverley ranks #3 among all 2009 draftees in WS/48.

Rondo...Lowry...Rubio... Evan Turner if you consider him a point guard...all better rebounders.

Worrell was just hyping Bevergod is all. I enjoy it. The broadcasters for many other teams like to tear down and publicly criticize every new face, but the professional thing to do is to always point out positives instead. And Beverley's rebounding for a player his size has been a nice surprise.

Bev gets 1.2 oreb per game
Westbrook is #1 with 1.3 per game.

But considering Westbrook plays twice as many minutes i'd say yea Bev is the best haha.
out of all guards Bev is 3rd behind Tony Allen who gets .4 more oreb than Bev, but again he plays more minutes.

per 36 total rebounding out of all the guards in the league Bev is only behind Tony Allen and Evan Turner, if you count him as a guard, but I see Turner as a SF right now as Holiday is their PG... so Bev is only behind Tony Allen.

Offensive rebounds? Sure why not. But stats aside, offensive rebounding for a 6'1" kid like that in limited minutes is a sign of straight-up hustle. It speaks to what Mr. Belvedere is all about.

(By which we mean, Christopher Hewett taking a job as a butler for a wealthy American family...)
