You can definitely say he's not having a great season and isn't living up to the contract, but if Henderson keeps up his play through the remainder of the year, you can expect Hendo to get an offer similar to Afflalo. With Henderson's good play becoming more and more consistent, I can live with that contract.

You shouldn't take these last few games into account to such an extent. There's no way I, for one, would give Hendo 7.5 mil per year. Imo, these are the contracts that kill you when the particular player fails to deliver. Those 6, 7, 8 million for a guy who should be the fourth best player on your team.

Bryan Colangelo has 2340923498450495498151098084939 dollars wrapped up in Rudy Gay, Derozan, Fields, and Bargnani. I think we're safe from ridiculous 9-10M offers, but we should be prepared to match Afflalolike offers. That's an official word in this thread "Afflalolike".
Think about this? Who has the Bobcats ever extended or resigned over 6 million a year?

So, which is Afflalo, which is Hendo, which is Andre Iguadola?
While Aff and Ig are currently (Hendo's 25, Afflalo 27, Iggy 29) superior all around players, if I'm Hendo's agentI'm pointing at those numbers and saying Hendo's #s are in the neighborhood of two guys getting paid 7.5 & 15 mln respectively.
Personally, in a sane world, I'd pay Hendo 5mln/

I think it definitely confirms the eye test - when he's motivated he goes to the rim more and hence scores more.
