I don't know. I always think they let the other guys hold and push more than they allow us to, but not tonight. There was a time when Josh tried to get the ref to bail him out under the basket, when Ibaka really didn't foul him. Josh cried to the ref and the ref teed him up. However, after that, I thought the refs called the game for us more so than for the Thunder. Sure, Durant is allowed to foul on defense and is protected on offense but that's just the way things are.

The refs didn't cheat to allow Durant to make a 40 ft 3pter ... or the next time down the court when he hit a fall-away 3. He just hit impossible shots.

Ibaka most certainly did foul him. He missed the ball and hit all forearm, just like he did when he fouled Horford. I don't see how you don't think that was a foul.

I don't see how the refs called the game for the us more. I would have to say that the Thunder got the benefit of the call and if Josh gets T'd up for that "ALMOST" yelling at the ref then trying to let it go(watch the replay and read his lips) it is down right weird that Westbrook and Perkins got nothing for screaming at refs repeatedly.

That said, nothing on earth could have stopped Durant. The Hawks lost this game because Durant was the best player on the floor, refs or no refs.

Also I do want to point out Lou Williams again. In this game I watched him look off wide open Korver 3 times in the 4th so he could take a contested jumper and Korver and other players getting visably frustrated because they were POINTING at Korver as well. I guess you just have to take the good and bad with him.

OKC is playing some good basketball right now. We didn't bring our A or B game and they took advantage of us. Good game by OKC as they do entertain.

On that particular play Josh very blatantly threw out his off-arm into Ibaka first which very easily could of been called an offensive foul. The refs swallowed the whistle on it but Josh felt he was wronged all the way (clearly wasn't THAT upset though to warrant the tech). I will agree with Parsons in that the game was called much better later in the game but no, you are right in that it didn't make up for the travesty of the most of the first 3 quarters.

Not even that. We just somebody that can defend the 3 other than Josh all the time. Josh isn't terrible, just that we need someone else to rely on at the 3. It's usually been Marvin, but he's gone.

You may certainly be right. Heaven knows I'm wrong all the time. In this case, however, if you watched the local telecast, you heard Bob Rathbun and Dominique Wilkins agree with me. Wilkins called it "a good no-call."

Horford just did not have a good game. It looks like Al is on a mini slump. the key to beating the thunder is getting production from the center position and Horford just didn't do that this night, last year Zaza tore up the thunder and the Hawks went away with an easy victory. i hope Horford can find his way back, Josh, Lou, and Teague really need him to give some effort every night.

Ugly game offensive wise in the first quarter. Race not to be 8th

Sanders on pace to have 40 rebounds in this one (he had 10 in the first half)

Man I love AL Horford. 9th Double-Double in his last 10 games.

Hawks are now 8-1 when he attempts 20+ Field Goals.

Teagues destruction of Jemnings and Jennings selfish attempts to turn it into a 1 on 1 game was wonderful to watch. The stats might kinda look like it was a battle but it was painfully one sided.

Back in 2009, i had Jennings ranked as 2nd best prospect behind Griffin. Coming out of high school, i thought Jennings was going to be Iverson, or KJ special. I thought Teague would be decent scoring PG like a Jason Terry or Mo Williams, but boy, Teague is really something special now, he is a pure point guard, who looks just as good as Mookie offensively and defensively. great pick up at 19, and looking 10 times better than Jennings and the overrated Rubio.

Looking back, i also find it funny that even though Teague was shooting .400 from three in Wake, people were saying he wasn't a good shooter because his jump shot looks awkward, while Johnny Flynn was shooting .300 from three in Syracuse, but people were saying that they should ignore the numbers because on tape, Flynn looks like he has a sweet stroke and would end up being a good NBA shooter.

okay, two things, Rubio is freaking good. The team, not so much, and he is still coming off that ACL injury, but that kid is a good point guard that would be GREAT on a better team.

2nd, I like Jeff and all, but he isn't in Mookies league defensively. Mookie Blalock was just freaking sick to watch. Fundamentally, everthing was wrong with him defensively. In practice, his hands were SO quick and feet moved so well, it didnt matter.

Not taking away from Teague, Jeff is becoming something special. The only thing missing is becoming a little more consistant, and that has been less of a issue this year.

I agree except on the Rubio part.
Teague and Rubio are two young PGs that you can build a team on.
You can't judge Rubio on this season, he's coming back from ACL and his team has better to tank since they got too many missing games by their best players, and better add one more pick.

What I remember is that lots of people were saying that Jennings and Flinn were better than Rubio, and Jennings himself said that Rubio was only hype and would look very bad against him or Flinn, and now, Rubio is clearly a better PG than Jennings or Flinn.
