I suggest tuning in. Dude can play.

Very underwhelming so far. He isnt showing anything. ASU's freshman PG Carson is that one that looks like a legit prospect.

I wish Jahii Carson for ASU was taller haha. Dude is lightning quick & can jump out the gym. Only a freshman.

McCallum will get going.

& Bachynski for ASU is a legit big man 2nd round prospect.

7'2" averaged 10 points 6 boards & 3.5 blocks.

Yeah i meant Carson, not Felix.

McCallum doesnt seem to display any signs of being a NBA PG so far, he doesnt even seem like he can keep PG's in front of him.....Maybe its just Carson making him look bad.

Yea Carson has Lawson type speed. Not many can keep him in front.

McCallum def has NBA quickness & PG ability. The biggest knock on him is not being aggressive enough, & I was just hoping he would come out in possibly his last game & look to go off.

but he can def score, pass, board, handle, defend, with good size & play under control with low TOs. Just not a guy who seems to live for the spotlight & probably a reason he went to Detroit instead of one of the top schools that were offering him. (& the fact his dad is coach)

Dude is gonna be a problem in college.

I watched one of his games against USC this season & he led them back by himself (fell short at the end) but was driving & hitting jumpshots all over the court.

Nice little pickup of his play in the last few mins (McCallum) once Carson was sitting down.''

McCallum looks like he plays at a good pace when he has the ball in the PG role. He looks under control and comfortable.

Yea he averages about 19 5 & 5 on 50% shooting with 2SPG & 2TOs with that PG size nowadays at 6'3"

I just wish he would be more aggressive (scoring wise). He has shown he can go get 20+ when he wants, but he just plays within the offense & doesn't really force things.

Hope he comes out in the 2nd half really looking for his.

Chad Ford saying Smart is not a lock for the draft and might stay another year

kind of lame, I guess he doesn't care that he'd go from a Top 3 pick to a Top 10-14 pick

Or he realizes he needs to develop more & work on his game.

Nobody wants to come into the NBA without a definite position. This is the FIRST year he has ever tried to play the point.

May be smart to stay another year.

I seriously doubt he stays in college. Not many top 5 players do.

He might be drafted 1st overall this year and next year he could miss out on the top 5 alltogether

Yeah, I can't imagine a player risking his stock like that. But Joakim Noah, who was projected to go top 3, returned to college and saw his stock fall the next year. Some guys are just wired differently.

Financial situations always come into play with those types of decisions though. I don't know anything about Smart's background but Noah came from a famous, and likely wealthy, background. He didn't need the money like most IIRC. Same with Horford.

Yeah, it's situation-based. I don't think Smart would turn down the possibility of going top 3.

Does anyone else have severe trouble telling the OK state players apart? I'm always trying to watch Smart but they all look the same from my tv lol
