Spoiler:
So I don't leave EArl without context, I was complaining about critical listening to mutliple takes of a bass track for the last two hours. Then I edited it because I'm not really complaining. Now I'm pretty much just rambling because it's almost 4am and I'm kinda worn out.

Also I feel for ya EArl, BECAUSE I ALREADY GOT MY MECH B.ENG. I'd rather have tired ears, empathy abound.

And yes, five edits. Many tired mistakes.

I have no idea what you are talking about (probably because I haven't slept in the last 48 hours), but thank you for keeping me in context. :)

Gotta take the GMAT in the next couple months, but I'm having a really tough time staying focused. This is exactly why I didn't want to take a semester off to relax.

Why are you taking GMAT straight out of college?

Mostly because I want to get school out of the way. I have work experience and financial aid so it just seems like the most appropriate time. I realize people usually take an extended time off but I'm not sure if I would be motivated enough to go back to school if I did that.

If you are doing it to get into business school, the average age for an MBA student is like 29 and about 5-7 years of work experience. I do understand the financial aid part though, that makes a lot of sense but I've heard from people who got an MBA admit after college and felt totally out of place in discussions and projects at top universities.

I've even known a guy who had to rely on his computer science minor to find a job after getting an MBA from Duke.

I suggest you get some work experience first. I was also considering taking the GMAT after college, but after getting
a pretty secure job, I decided against it.

If you are really adamant on taking the GMAT right away, you need to set aside blocks of time everyday to study. Almost everyone I know, save a few borderline-savants, studied their ass off for it.

Yeh I feel like I am rushing myself a little. Could I use a little bit more work experience? Probably, but I don't feel like I'm under qualified or anything like that. I've worked in a management setting for 2-3 years now, and quite honestly the job I have right now sucks and is pretty flexible so I might as well get going on my MBA.

Goal right now is to have my MBA by the time I turn 27, that would be pretty awesome.

I'm really on and off with it. Studied like 3 hours a day for two weeks at the start of February but got lazy and put it off until today. And even now I'm too busy posting on Realgm than actually studying lol.

You have to get some protein bro. Soluble fiber is where it's at for weight loss.

I get protein mostly from eggs, but don't eat eggs on a daily basis. I need to find a place for almonds. Miss almond milk and want to try to blend it later.

Anyway this film made a lot of sense. Watch it if you have a weight and diet problem.
