I've been saying this. I hope he can play point in the NBA, if not then his value decreases a lot. I don't want him if he can't play pg.

That fact that this is even a question we have to ask is starting to scare the hell out of me. It wouldnt be as big an issue if he at least was a big time offensive threat...but he is not that either..

i'm not cool with that, those kind of players are a dime a dozen man. I'll be fine with anyone our front office chooses, they have proven themselves at least to me.

you make a good point, it's just that there's not much else to get excited about for this draft and at least BM does one thing really, really well...if we go with someone like porter, it would just be a logjam with Harris (who IS a SF) and Harkless.

I'd really just like to go with Noel and call it a day, but I think he'll be gone if we pick past #1

You can take Oladipo and put him at the 2

I like Olapido but there is no way in hell he's 6"5, hard to believe he would be 6"3 either. He is a bit undersized to play SG at least full time, he reminds me a bit of Avery Bradley of the Celtics

How can he look 3 inches shorter than he actually is?

We have no idea how tall he actually is. He is not 6'5" i would almost bet my home on that. If he is 6'5" every guard he matches up against must be 6'8"

Russ Smith might actually be just about as disruptive as Smart at pressuring guards.

Burke has been god awful tonight. Smart wasn't very good, but his team was awful. Smart still put up 14 pts 9 reb 5 stl 4 ast, he didn't shoot well and had 5 tos though. He is definitely a lock for top 5 still.

well according to the realgm rules, Smart and Burke just knocked themselves into a 2nd round pick, Bennett is not far behind :)

A player's stock doesn't drop after just one game.

He has work to do. He has been inconsistent. But as a freshman point guard it's not atypical. He has had big games that has shown his potential. The scouts take notice of what he's capable of.

Nah i was just making fun of how bad he missed that one shot. I don't think he'll actually drop out of the top 10, cause If he doesn't go to us he'll probably go to the Hornets. Anyways THIS game won't effect his stock but the games he could of played had he not been eliminated will. He has some major question marks and now with no games the rest of the season and other PG prospects still playing his spot as everyone's favorite PG could be in jeopardy.

Gotcha, he'll be fine. They'll all be evaluated in workouts and at the combine.

Watching this Michigan game, two things come to mind.
1) Rachel Nichols can get the D
2) Tim Hardaway Jr. could be a steal in the second round

People want Mclemore but i think Hardaway Jr can do some of the same things from what i can see minus the extreme athleticism

You're right CHRIS Smith, who also was at Louisville is JR's brother

Anthony Bennett having trouble finishing around the rim. Getting good position, just can't convert in the paint.
