Cheapest tix I can get for the MIN-PHX game on friday?

Hey guys,

I'm driving with my friend from California so he can take his MCATs on saturday and by coincidence, my favorite team, the Timberwolves...are playing tomorrow night. I don't care what seats I get, as long as I get two for him and I, since we're just visiting for the weekend.

Do people hawking tix usually sell cheap ones outside the arena for less than true value?

Yeah you can try that but there is always the risk that they are fake tix. I've heard too many horror stories of people buying fake tix so I never trust that route. If I were you and did that, I would tell the dude you buy them from to come with you to the entrance and make sure they let you in, then you pay the person. That way you know for sure they aren't fake. And if a guy is so desperate to sell his tickets right before a game, then he should be more than willing to do that....unless they are fake of course LOL

Or if you want to buy them online (which I would do), here's a couple of good sites. And that game is a good one to go to for cheap because both teams are not doing so well this year, so you can find some steal prices (like 4 to 5 bucks haha)

-There is the Suns.com Re-sale ticket site, where fans sell their tickets and the cheapest are 5 bucks. Lower level tix will obviously be more but because game is against Minny then the prices will be much cheaper than regular price.

Both are legit and you can't get scammed from them (I don't think). I'm sure there are other reputable sites but I don't want to post a site that I don't know is legit myself. So try those two and see what you find, and as I said the tickets will be much cheaper than regular prices. Just make sure that before you buy the tix, check them out on the Suns 3-D seating chart below and see if you even like the seat and the view so you don't get stuck with crappy seats you don't like and find out at the game haha. I would go with StubHub, I got tickets to the Suns vs Warriors game on opening night and got lower level center court seats for like $25 a ticket because I bought them and printed them out about 20 minutes before the game started which is why I got them for so cheap. I occasionally look there less than an hour before game time and they usually give them away when theres less than 30 min until tipoff.

^ stubhub is certainly the way to go, I got lower level tickets (about 20 rows behind the suns bench) for suns at kings the day before the game for $40 each. As GW said, the closer to the game, the cheaper they get. And for terrible teams like suns, kings and wolves there should be plenty of tickets to choose from.

I'll be going to the next meeting of these two teams, because it will be here in Minny.

I'm just glad this game is on tv here, for I haven't been able to watch too many televised games this season.

However, I think I've seen almost every Heat, Thunder, Lakers, and Denver games because that's the teams they show ad nauseum.

I ended up not going to stubhub and my girlfriend, best friend and I bought tickets @ the desk right inside the arena. We got some lame ass seats in like section 221. The computer froze before she swiped my credit card and for the trouble, they moved us to the lower level, 10 rows away from where the Wolves were warming up.

It was a great experience and PHX has some classy and nice fans, great city for sure and the downtown area was much cleaner than downtown San Diego.
