Scouting Report
Brewers: Sheets' last start was pushed back a day because of a blister on the middle finger of his right hand, but he pitched well in a victory over Atlanta Tuesday night. The right-hander gave up three runs before recording an out, then settled down to pitch scoreless baseball for six innings. He has allowed three or fewer runs in each of his last eight starts.
Marlins: His ERA hasn't been outstanding, but the bottom line is Willis is finding ways to win. The D-Train beat the Cubs in the second game of the road trip, giving up four runs in seven innings. He has won two straight decisions, and the Marlins have won the 25-year-old left-hander's last three starts. Willis has yielded five home runs in his last five starts.

Captain Erv's Thoughts: Coming off a tough loss with some questionable managing by Yost, the Brewer look to win their first series in a fortnight. It will be a tall order against the D-Train, but I think he is beatable. Sheets has been good for the past 3+ weeks so lets hope he isn't due for a blowup start. Let's get this win and then kick the Cubs when they are down!
