Among the nine group runners-up, the eight best runners-up (determined by records against the first-, third-, fourth- and fifth-placed teams only for balance between different groups) will advance to the play-offs, where they will be drawn into four home-and-away ties to determine the other four qualifiers.

Belgium vs Croatia, exciting game, Belgium midfield is pure class.

Benteke has potential, but they'd be better with Fellaini or Lukaku leading the offense as target man. With Fellaini's intelligece and technique, he would open the defense for Hazard, Mertens, Witsel and Dembele infiltrate on the box. Also he is an aerial ace.

Theyre now playing a 4-2-3-1. Defour and Dembele playing double pivot. Hazard playing attacking midfield right, Witsel playing centre and Mertens attacking midfield left. Gillet has been awful but scored a stunning goal by the end of the First Half. Vertonghen is class at left back.

Awesome midfield. Hazard is not playing well on the right flank, specially because Benteke doesn't come close to play 1-2 and all. Seems like Fellaini is not 100% fit. Dembelé and Witsel are eating Modric alive.

Croatia-Serbia this friday, last time we played in their stadium we tied 2-2 in Euro 2000 qualifiers and advanced to the tournament. Away fans are banned for both fixtures and I really hope nothing stupid happens. Will be a tough game for us, our lack of strikers will be a problem however if we stop Modric in the middle and slow down which ever side Srna plays on we have a good chance.

We're playing the Croats today in Belgrade, hopefully there won't be a group of idiots ruining the game and I also hope both sides stay classy unlike last time when Croats were chanting "Kill the Serbs" in Zagreb.

The last couple of years this generation of players has been hyped a lot, and now they're finally making it happen & getting results

And the BBC seems to love the Belgians too for some reason they keep talking about how good we can be .. I'd like for us to stay a lil modest till we actually beat some good teams, but it's a great time for sports in Belgium
