Or off the list all together (hopefully not).

CPT wrote:I don't know if I have any strong disagreements just yet (Weidman probably doesn't have the 88th most impressive resume in MMA history, but I'll let it slide because I tend to skew toward the more recent guys), but so far, to me, the theme is "really, this guy is one of the top 100 guys to ever compete in this sport?"

He's nothing like Weidman. He's beaten 3 guys likely to be ahead of him on this list, and one more below him. If he retired today, he would have already had a great career.
Like 20 spots too low, if not more.

An argument could certainly be made for that. He is a victim of his unfinished resume, as a lot of guys ahead of him have more accomplishments, because they have been around a lot longer.

Do they though?
Fitch, Koscheck, Kampmann, Condit. All in their primes. Who else has a resume that comes even close to touching that? GSP? I'm not saying he's the 2nd greatest WW of all time, and I know he's hardly a household name, but give the guy his due.
Bisping is ahead of him with his top 5 wins over Hamill, Leben, Akiyama, Stann, and Mayhem? Is that a joke?
I'm actually cool with Bisping being pretty high because he's been an important figure in the sport, but I think we're going to be going on a long run of guys with a resume significantly worse than Hendricks. Unless you fix it, that is.
