There's only 1 move I'd like to see us make: Pick up Reggie Evans again.

Why not just get Dejaun Blair and have a guy similar to Reggie Evans in terms of energy on the offensive glass, but who is able to score offensively . Neither can really guard C's, and both can't keep up that well with quick PF's without fouling too much

in the offseason I'd like to see two things.

and u guys are gonna kill me....ur absolutely gonna kill me.
but I'm going for it here.

Im Flipping DeAndre and Caron's expiring for Al Horford...win win.
im flipping bledsoe and a future 2nd to get into the lottery and drafting Oladipo...not shabazz, not the kid from kansas...OH-LA-DEE-PO!

CP3
Oladipo
BARNES until we find a 3.
Griff
Horford

new coach

btw....im not a real advocate of moving DJ.
just...if we're so intent on moving him...let's move him that way.
and i expect Oladipo to be a breath of fresh air just like Kawhi was.

The first trade is a no-brainer, but the Hawks would never consider that, ever.

The second trade is a very easy no for me. I'd rather deal Bleds and get the rights of MCW and more.

Hawks wouldn't do it with their new money cutting management, but Horford is still truly a PF, and not a C

Bledsoe for a lottery pick would obviously make sense, but I haven't paid much attention to the draft prospects to comment on that at the moment.

why can't i figure out who the hell MCW is?
edit.

Michael Carter Williams.....from Syracuse?...where he is in the draft (lower than oladipo), i think we could easily move bledsoe for him.
any particular reason ur really high on him?
i like Oladipo...smart, energetic dude....athleticism out the wazoo who will play some good defense....sucks he won't be as long as like a thabo...but he will keep you in front...and at 6'5" the only SGs that can really abuse that height differential are kobe, JJ and Paul George.

i was just thinking about building the SG and SF positions through the draft.
1. to save us money.
2. building a franchise with ur own home grown players is better than trading and FA if we're talking sustained success over the long hall.

dunno how we could sell CP3 on that at 28 years old....looking for a championship.
my only guess would be to show him Kawhi leonard is a success.

he is a natural 4.
i'm wondering...depending on how he plays...would this move make us "small"?
cuz he's strong down there and a good defender.

looking at his mid-range percentages.
hnnnngggghhh.

but then again....i want to keep DJ...but if the org is intent (rumors it was just vinny not the FO)...then Id like that move.

Every game I've seen from MCW, he isn't afraid to have the ball late in his hands. But unlike what I've seen from Bazz (Im a UCLA fan) and few I've seen from McLemore & Smart, he is willing to give it up for his teammates to get glory. He's not the most athletic, but his handles for a 6'6" guy are out of this world. Better than most point guards honestly. He reminds me a lot of Livingston, but a better defender and scorer than Shaun was, minus for his lack of a legit three point threat.

I just think replacing Bledsoe with another defensive point guard on a rookie contract would be a great way to go. And I think Clips can get more in return with MCW for Bleds as well, to boot.

Such as, Henson and Bucks pick for Bleds?

Henson can be our third big for a very long time and is averaging 5.5/4 in 11 minutes with the Bucks. Three years left on his rookie deal and is a legit 6'11.

MCW with a big game against Indy.

u like him as a pick though even though he's a tall, lanky PG?
u would move him to the off guard and have him play along side Paul?

edit:
I'm trying to get taller at the 2
younger at the 2/3
and some 3 point marksmanship at both positions

but I've been looking at him since you've posted that...i like the length, the shot and the handles make me think he'll be able to create his own even though he doesn't have elite explosiveness.

his body type just reminds me of shaun livingston.......and everyday i don't have to think about shaun n his leg...is a better day imo..also makes me wonder if he's physical enough to guard the 2

If possible, I would try to do this:

Clippers get: KG and 19th pick

Kings get: Bled and 26th pick

Celtics get: DJ and 7th pick

Why for Clippers?
We get KG, who is still a starting NBA center for 3 more years if he wants to be. Clippers also get the 19th pick, which they could use to get Mark Withey, the 7 footer out of Kansas who gets 3.9 blocks per game and hits 75% free throws.

Why for Kings?
Bledsoe would team up with college teamates Cousins and Patterson. I heard them commenting on TV that a lot of the players on the Kings roster don't want to play with Cousins. Well, at lease you know he would have to string allies in Bledsoe and Patterson. Bledsoe is a 3 steal per 36 minute guy, reminiscent of Gary Payton, which would sit well with the Seattle fans.

Why for Celtics?
They get two good rebuilding pieces in DJ and the 7th pick, which they could use to draft somebody like Plumlee, McDermott, Zeller, etc. They could also draft a PG like MCW and trade Rhondo.

Garnett already nixed a trade to the Clippers, so it's not longer and option, but yes, Garnett and his defense and ability to pick and pop and shoot the mid-range shot would be perfect for the Clippers on both ends, but he doesn't want to get traded and is the final factor in whether it happens.

Supposedly it would have happened during the deadline if he didn't decline.

Well if that is the case, the Clippers should try and trade Bledsoe and the 26th pick to Sacramento for the 7th pick and draft Kelly Olynek. He is one of the best offensive players in basketball and he is a legit skilled 7 footer. He doesn't provide the defense that KG does, but he could be used a lot in the pick and pop and he could also post up. He would give DJ a good competition for minutes, which is good.

iono... i think DJ would be the better choice if his arse can make free throws... he has the anchor D we need with a very efficient offensive game. Plus drafting a 7ft post player will probably make BG sad that the offense doesn't run through him.

if only DJ could make 70% fts

I'd rather try to trade Bledsoe to the Bucks for Gustavo Ayvon + #15. And depending on who is there at #15, here are a few scenarios:

#15 we take Caldwell-Pope from Georgia. Use #25 on Isaiah Austin. Sign a backup point guard in free agency. Livingston is doing well and wouldn't mind bringing him full circle. Watson could be a good vet pick-up. Will Bynum also wouldn't be bad. Jarrett Jack & Devin Harris would be great long shots as well. Keep Barnes around, maybe Odom as well. Bring back Elton Brand as well

Paul - Pope - Butler - Blake - Jordan
FAPG - Green - Crawford - Barnes - Odom - Brand - Ayvon - Austin (DLG)

Or at #15 we go with Olynk, if he is available. Use #25 on Archie Goodwin. I'm extremely high on Goodwin and think he can be a huge stud for years and years to come. Same thing up there as far as point guards go, but get one of Brand or Odom. Try to steal Mayo or JJ away from their teams with the MLE. Use Min to get Watson/Bynum/Livvy

Paul - FA - Butler - Blake - Jordan
FA - Green(IL) - Crawford - Goodwin - Barnes - Brand/Odom - Ayvon - Olynk
