i almost want to start a "Fire Rick Bonnell" petition

seriously this guy is such a douchebag. I dunno how a guy that writes about basketball for a living can attain just a condescending patronizing attitude toward fans.

not to mention he's just flat out idiot. Suggesting we trade our pick this year for Pau Gasol, accusing fans of being "drunk" for saying MKG should be playing at the end of games. He's obsessed with Byron Mullens potential but blows off MKG and Biyombo as prospects. He rarely ever makes an intelligent point, his articles are often boring and lack any real insight to the team.

seriously, theres no reason to settle for someone who sucks so much at his job when there are dozens of people out there who would do what he does for minimum wage

The "drunk" Twitter thing was obnoxious, agreed. I'm not a huge Bonnell or Dunlap hater - they both have their ups and downs - but MKG seems to bring out their respective worsts. Last night was epically bad. OK, if you're going to go with vets in a close game, I get it. But JT over MKG? A Ben Gordon firing passes into the stands and shooting 1-7? Pleez. So, yeh, Rickie is another "I understand why MKG is not playing" comment or two away from losing me.

Having a different opinion that fans is perfectly OK, but calling fans drunk because their opinion differs is so unprofessional. He needs his ass whipped.
