When I say at this point in the season I mean with the team in the mental state it's in right now. At the start of the year they were optimistic and playing with heart. Now we are fragile and burdened down by losses. We dont approach the game the same way we did at the start and these playoff bound teams are getting into playoff mode. Bad mix.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

I was also gonna say that without all the injuries the team would play with much more intensity than we're seeing now. While they're professionals who should get fired up for every game I really can't blame them. It's not just Love missing or Bud being out for so long but all the minor stuff (AK and Pek come to mind) that probably contributes to their lack of intensity. They all know it's a lost season anyway.

still it's a contract year for budinger, pekovic, kirilenko, and to a lesser extent steamer.

By the way, Acceptable Face Chase might be the best nickname the board has ever created.

Pek outrebounded by Nazr in 9 more mins......and DC 0 rebs doesnt help either.

Jimmy Bulter destroyed AK, AK did basically nothing...

How did Derrick end up with 28?
