There are no game changers in this draft anyway.

At least we didn't sign KMart when we needed physicality off of the bench and were still in the playoff hunt, not as if he's shooting 63% while averaging 10 ppg, 6 rpg, 1 block and 1 steal per game, and turning it over less than a single time in 25 minutes per since becoming a steady in the Knicks rotation (efficiency rating above 18)... I just can't like this team right now.

Obviously it wouldn't matter now, but realize ttat I would have preferred to give up our draft pick this season (advocated since our sucking) than in the future, even being a doormat for the Heat and then giving them our pick would have been better than this rooting for us to lose ****.

Figured this would be a tough one to lose, can't fault Evan Turner though, the man knows hw to tank with the best of them, along with his trade value.

Tanking this year is just hard to get into,in draft like this th best layers often come later in the draft anyway.

IMO anything top 8 is good. After that there is a drop off in talent. Noel, McLemore, Muhammed, Porter, Bennett, Smart, Zeller, Oladipo. Everyone after that is kinda bleh.

And yea I was hoping for a turner evans trade a while ago but it is too bad that isn't realistic anymore. damn

I'm slightly worried because they do seem to be developing a touch of cohesiveness. Holiday finding his rhythm again, Hawes playing big, Thad being Thad, and Damien Miller finding the fountain of youth. Its all a scary combination.

The timing is extremely frustrating and totally counterproductive to the ultimate goal, to actually get better. These wins just cement us in NBA no-man land, sandwiching ourselves between the lottery and the 8 seed.

I didn't see the first half, but I actually liked the way he was feeding the post in the 2nd half. Not a great scoring night, but still thought he contributed.

He played well. He only took 7 shots and played more of a playmaker last night. The hate is getting ridiculous now. Did you watch the game. He looked fine. They just were focusing on other players..

My big issue is this.

Damien Wilkins of course. If the sole reason Doug Collins needs to go is this so be it, but he CAN NOT develop young talent which is a major problem because we are a YOUNG TEAM!!!

If he actually does stick around for next season because we go on a so called "run" to close out the season I will just vomit. It is time for a change and preferrably someone who can develop young talent..

In my opinion

Holiday, Turner, Thad, Moultrie have all Regressed under Collins IMO and having a young team rely on long 2's is just absurd as an offensive strategy. They won last night because the Kings stink plain and simple. What is that 7 straight years in the lottery for them. putrid

This team won't tank adn that's ok but they need to make a decision. You can't build or the future and be in win now mode at the same time. You get half-a$$ results in both. This whole organization lacks direction. It needs a single linear direction. Aaron and Harris need to set the direction and make it clear to everyone and those not on board need to be shown the door. I'm ok with them winning now but if that's the case ET and Hawes need to be moved....ASAP! Both have too far to go in there development. Package one or both with their lottery pick and get an impact player. If they want to build for the future than there is no reason N. Young, Wright, Wilkens or Ivey should see one more minute of time. They are stuck in mediocrity because as an organization they choose to do the same thing over and over. Here's a news flash...eve with a healthy AB this team is not good enough. I'm ok if they resign him him but if that's the case ET, Hawes and that lottery pick better not be on the roster, or they will continue to tread water.

Evan played a decent game...looked like a point guard not a space cadet...seems like he played fewer minutes...probably on Collin shi***t list.

I don't understand how Holiday or Thad regressed... Thad went from posting on average a 15.3 PER in his first 3 seasons and was just coming off of a career low 14.0 PER season to averaging 18.6 PER the last 3 seasons. The season Collins took over the team, Holiday went from being a 19 year old project his rookie season under Eddie Jordon and looking like he'd never amount to much to just 3 seasons later being an All Star. We also got him relatively cheap now because Collins took the time to develop him while putting much of the pressure of facilitating our offense on Iggy's shoulders while still allowing Jrue to be an essential facet of our offense. I believe Doug's time here in Philadelphia is coming to an end as well, however, as you said, "the hate is getting ridiculous now"...

Turner is a flat out bust. How this can even be argued against at this point is incomprehensible to me. The guy has be getting progressively worse as the season has gone along. He has no more excuses. He has started every game, averaged 30+ min a game and has had the ball plenty and does nothing with it.

In his las 5 games he is averaging he 9pts, 3ast, 3rb, 3to shooting 42%fg 33%( :lol:

Denver )ft 28% 3pt.

For the month of March 11pts, 5rbs, 4 ast, 2to, shooting 40%fg 60%ft 36% 3p

I to watched the game yestestday. What I saw was him getting cooked by Reke all over the court and Thomas by his matador defense. I saw him shoot 1-5 in the first half and subsequently only take 2 more shots the rest of the game finishing in what is now his typical inefficient fashion. He had as close to zero impact on the first half of the game as a player could have, and very little in the second half. Not to mention he has been getting outplayed by DAMIEN freakin Wilkins for Christ sake!!

And he is not a PG. He does virtually the same thing every game. Brings the ball up the court. Passes to one of the bigs in the high post(mostly Hawes). Runs off a screen to get the hand off. Then tries to hit said big for a mid range J. Thats not a PG. He rarely reads defenses or breaks them down. Very seldom is he needling the thread of D's or hitting shooters coming off screens. He doesnt (or most likely cant) post up smaller guards to create double teams to find open teammates. Most of the time he is just out there.

He is such a painfully average player. I will cherish the day he is off this team.
