Rumor has it Joe is pondering a trade sending Drummond to the Lakers for Jodie Meeks. He views Meeks as a good replacement for Stuckey, should Stuckey leave in FA next year.

I'm a hugeeeeeee pistons fan and I am very frustrated with the way this team is headed. I don't know if it's just me but joe dumars pre mr. Davidson death was making all the right moves and post bill Davidson he seems to not be as aggressive. I think he doesn't have a motivation factor as well as he used to with bill Davidson being old and a guy u don't wanna let down. Honestly, wht is joes motivation? Money? Job security? To prove he can rebuild a championship team? I don't know man. I look at these players and only dude I'd keep is Drummond. He seems to fit the piston mold. I like Calderon as a point guard going forward bc he will help Drummond but Monroe needs to develops mid range game bc he is so bad defensively. Ateast be elite on offense if ur going to be bad on defense. As for small forward I want a guy that cann defend the perimeter at a high level. The only dude I see in the draft doing that is oladipo. Brandon knight needs to Fkn step up man for real. No more inconsistencies. Take over like we all thought u could. I'd like to add a forward that plays defensive and maybe its josh smith who knows.

first of all did u read on article on pistons.com about dumars saying he gonna resign him long term

please post the article everything i've read said that they made the trade with the idea of signing him long term, meaning that they are going with the "wait and see approach". If he is, my question would be "HAVE YOU SEEN OUR RECORD SINCE THE TRADE?"

I like knight better as our starting pg calderon defense suck we already gotta deal with moose defense.Move knight back to pg and get a sf and sg plus our draft pick and we should be good

I cannot predict next years lineup but I think there are 2 things you can bank on..

1) Dre is our starting C next year
2) Maxiell is a goner!!!

I didnt think there was a snowball chances in hell Stuckey would be resigned but i was wrong than. I would think Maxiell was gone but im not so sure when player Joe D FA Poker.

With Drummond back, we'll at least see what a he and Moose can do together... Maybe Joe D plans to trade Monroe if it doesn't work like it should be.
