Memphis is my pick to win the West... but Gasol getting injured puts that down greatly.

Memphis is an excellent defensive team, if Wall can have an above average game against them it'd be pretty telling. He's gonna need the rest of the team to show up though.

The tank is in effect. I don't see how we can win without Nene, Webster, Beal and Ariza. The only healthy swing men on the roster are Temple (who also has to play backup PG), Martin and Singleton (who really isn't a SF).

And that's a real nasty flu Ariza must have.

So...no webster either? we might have to force vesely into some SF duty tonight. I understand tanking but at least try to hide it some...

Why in the world won't EG cut Barbosa and sign a D-league player to play some spot minutes? We have NO WINGS.

After the GSW game I said to myself that if I were the coach Singleton would never play another minute as a Wizard. Well what do you know, he's starting the next game. I bet the average joe schmo SF in the NBDL could play better than Singleton can. The guys not worth his roster spot...Thankfully Faried was drafted after Singleton and is playing at an all-star level!

Unfortunately, we don't have an average Joe Schmo from the NBDL. We have Vesely who is actually worse than Singleton.

I'd rather see Booker at SF than Vesely. Of course, Booker might have to start at PF because Nene is out.

This is amazing. We are missing 5 of our top 7 players. It's Wall, Okafor, and a bunch of guys who couldn't get minutes on a .500 team. (Well, Booker might be able to steal a few minutes here and there.)

Here's a little tidbit:

Among all the players who will be suiting up tonight, Wall is the only one who has scored 20 or more points in more than 2 games this year.

Cartier Martin has done it twice, Okafor twice, and Seraphin once. That's it.

Lmao they're not even trying to hide the tank...there's no way all of those players are really out. Love it!

This reminds of the game between Orlando and the Wiz in Gilbert's 1st year when he was the only player left after everyone else was injured. He scored 40+ and TMac had 60+.

The confidence is just dripping from John Wall right now. I've never seen him so actively looking for his shot in his entire basketball career.

Let's just hope an inevitable cold streak doesn't harm his confidence.
