I have 2 leagues set up.
Both are 7X7 roto with the categories being:
h, r, hr, rbi, sb, avg, ops
w, k,quality starts, hold, saves, ERA, WHIP.
The first is a daily lineup changes league (higher maintenance).
Mission Twinpossible
League ID: 151907
Password: gardenhire
The second is a weekly lineup changes league (lower maintenance)
that is returning from last year.
Bi-lateral leg weakness.
League ID: 148300
Password: joemauer
Anyone is welcome to join one or both leagues.
For what it's worth, I find baseball just as fun as basketball with perhaps a bit more strategy involved.
Both leagues I played in last year went down to the very last day of the season.
12 Spots in each league, with 7 openings in each currently.

I'm already excited to once again stack my roster w/ no pitching and injured stars that never heal

I've learned my lesson...only fantasy sport worth playing is football.

You'll change your tune when we're in 1st place and Deduno is the frontrunner for the Cy Young.

Re: OT: Fantasy Baseball, anyone interested?
I'm signed up! I was big into baseball during ever since I was little - watching Rivas & Guzman man the middle, Terry Steinbach, Brad Radke, Jacque Jones, Torii Hunter, Shannon Stewart. I would rent the 1991 World Series VHS from the local library a couple times every year. These past couple years of losing has really gotten me disinterested. High point was watching Cuddyer, Mauer, Morneau, Hunter competing for division titles each year.
I wouldn't mind a rebuilding year or two but the last couple teams haven't had any sense of direction, some vets some young talent but nothing to build off of. Very frustrating. Luckily I'm a big Gopher wrestling fan so Minnesota sports aren't a total loss for me. Anyway I hope fantasy baseball gets me back into watching a little more this year!

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt

Re: OT: Fantasy Baseball, anyone interested?
Welcome back Devilz and RCG and returning players.
For the first time in about a decade the Twins finally have some blue chippers in their minor league system.
I throw up in my mouth a little when I think about our starting rotation, but we could be pretty damn good in a couple of years. Of course I've been thinking that about the wolves for the better part of a decade now.
Still Looking to fill 5 open spots in each league.
The drafts (live online) are tentatively set for 6:30 and 8:30 PM on Monday april 1st.
And RCG is right about fantasy sports keeping a terrible team watchable. JJ hitting 5 3 pointers in a blowout last night helped one of my teams. Otherwise I probably wouldn't have had much to cheer for as disgusted as I am with the team. I can't even motivate myself to root for tanking at this point.
