I hate the Spurs....there's a 95% chance they win that series, but I'll continue to root for Dirk to kick Duncans ass once again.

Didn't see the game or anything, but just noticed Denver's impressive run just came to an end tonight. A 24 point defeat to the Hornets of all teams. Just goes to show how impressive Miami's streak of 27 has truthfully been. Any team can be beat. On any given night too. Us as Knick fans know this all too well. It'll be interesting to see how Denver responds from this loss moving forward.

@ San Antonio.
vs. Brooklyn.
@ Utah.
@ Dallas.
vs. Houston.
vs. San Antonio.
@ Dallas.
vs. Portland.
@ Milwaukee.
vs. Phoenix.

Hopefully they can beat Brooklyn. Denver is currently at 49 wins. How many wins do you believe they'll finish up with? I'm saying 53-55.

They've looked horrible in the 3 games Lawson missed. I think Denver could lose 4 or 5 in a row.

it's too bad none of the pieces we gave in the melo deal could save them from the wrath of a shorthanded hornets team.

they should have lost to Philly, if not for the weirdest collapse in Sixers history.

D'antoni teams are all the same....they get down big, fight back, get the fans hopes up, but ultimately lose in the end. Been like this for years now.

How many games between Utah and Lakers? Sounds like it's still a 8th seed up for grabs in the West.
Are you fans of the team or the player?

Weird. He's not even a real PG. More of a shooter, Roger Mason style.

lol - there was no such thing as cancelling out prime Shaq. The only way to stop him was to send him to the line. Hope you have enough fouls.

That Lakers team and this Heat team would have been great series though. The Lakers had the better balance - at least the first two years. Great role players and traditional positions. The Heat have better players. Instead it was the friggin' Pacers and Nets finals. Blech.

Not every young player is going to blossom into a star. Theres more busts, role players, and journeymen in the game than there are future All Stars.

Are you a teenager?

Lakers during their run with Shaq/Kobe would sweep the Heat. Again, who on the Heat could even come close to slowing down Shaq? Shaw would do whatever he wants. And if we're talking about Lebron being on Jordan's level, Kobe in his prime is right there. So not only do you have Shaq who would be the most dominate player on the floor in a match up with Miami, Kobe could cancel out Lebron.

It's gross how people today think everything is greater than it really is. It's why dumb kids are all about the Nickleback when talking about rock.

Lakers and Bulls were both better teams than the Heat. This Heat team already lost a championship, almost lost to the Celtics in the playoffs last year and were down 2-1 to the Pacers. You're going to have egg on your face if the Heat lose in the championship. Thunder has the talent to beat em and the Clippers/Grizzlies certainly have the size. Clippers and Grizzlies would be a nightmare match up for the Heat. Better yet, the Pacers knock off the Heat. Even your own Knicks... wth. If you don't think Chandler/Amare could prevent problems with their size while Melo does the scoring, then I don't know what to tell ya. The Heat's run is impressive but while you're talking about the greatest ever, they don't even have the win streak or the best regular season record. The belongs to the Bulls and Lakers. So not only do I think your talk of them being the best team ever is ridiculous, their are stats that prove they're not. And look how weak the East is for that matter. When MJ played in the East, it was stacked top to bottom. When Kobe/Shaq played in the West, stacked top to bottom.

Miami probably loses just because its a terrible matchup. You need big bodies against Shaq. You can't ever cancel him out. He is virtually unstoppable. Who do the Heat have in terms of bigs? Bosh?
Like I said both great teams but terrible matchup. The only option is to hack him but having big bodies still helps even though they still can't stop Shaq. Lakers don't have anything to stop Lebron either mind you but Shaq vs Bosh? Thats just such a terrible matchup. Bosh gets anal raped by guys like Greg Monroe. Imagine what Shaq would do. :o

I don't get the Morey love fest here. His main skill is flipping players like they were poker cards. How is Thomas Robinson different than Jordan Hill or Terrence Williams. Rockets are a low playoff seed - same place they were when he took over, and unless he gets Howard this season, they are going nowhere again.

No sense of urgency at all. I thought Asstoni delivering that heartfelt speech would stir up their competitive sensibilities, but no...it looks like it had an adverse effect.

Lakers dont deserve to make the playoffs. Neither do the Jazz. I hope Dirk and the Mavs get in, and upset San Antonio in the first round. That would warm my heart.

That speech didn't work because the team knows he's a phony who doesn't prepare them, then throws them under the bus in the press afterwards.

Frank Isola ‏@FisolaNYDN 48m
Betcha he makes it to his first commercial shoot during offseason. RT@KCJHoop: No change for DRose. Practiced fully, no sign of him playing.

Frank Isola ‏@FisolaNYDN 36m
When it was being reported that Derrick Rose would return after the All Star break did they mean the '13 break or the 2014 All Star Break?

Frank Isola ‏@FisolaNYDN 36m
Still confused over how someone is available to practice but not play. What is the difference?

Frank Isola ‏@FisolaNYDN 34m
Derrick Rose is practicing, not playing. Kevin Garnett is told to take 2 weeks off. This is the new NBA: Where In-Season Vacations Happen

Frank Isola ‏@FisolaNYDN 21m
When DRose finally plays he won't be very good, he won't play a lot of mins & his knee will be sore. He can cross that hurdle now or in Nov.

Frank Isola ‏@FisolaNYDN 20m
The alternative is to have your brother rip the front office for not doing enough to improve the team while you practice but won't play

that and the fact that he decided he wanted to make a profit off his injury with his whole #thereturn adidas campaign yet gets defensive after he's being questioned by media for being cleared by team doctors yet refusing to play.
