I do expect him to taper off in the 2nd half though, this level of point production is Arenas-esque.

early in the 2nd half in did taper for a bit. Until crunch time!
Hibachi!

I especially liked the long pull up with the shot clock almost to zero.

The tank is in effect. I don't see how we can win without Nene, Webster, Beal and Ariza. The only healthy swing men on the roster are Temple (who also has to play backup PG), Martin and Singleton (who really isn't a SF).

And that's a real nasty flu Ariza must have.

I don't know if you were being conspiratorial with the Ariza comment but
Consor said he was flat on his back on the plane coming back from the west coast.
Sounded quite legit to me.

I didn't see how we could win either. Then Wall went all hibachi on Memphis.

No. I wasn't being facetious or anything. When Ariza missed the Golden State game with the flu, I thought it might be possible that he partied really hard after a great win over LA. But when he was out 3 days later against Grizzlies, I figured it was legit. It must really be a nasty flu virus.

exactly

almost overnight he's gone from being an average PG and as such, a disappointment
as a #1#1, to being exactly what you would hope for from a #1#1.

He wanted to win so bad. He played the WHOLE second half.

yes it was.

We had a Memphis fan nearby we had some fun with, something my ultra nice person
wife was having trouble understanding (how/why we would get into to it with him).

Lucky for us too that we had special seats more near where BobbyD sits for the game.
Kept looking around for him and/or WolfBlitz but never spotted him.

Glad someone finally got around to this.

The chasedown block by Singleton got/kept the crowd really pumped.
Even though he started the game bricking all his shots, he played decently
overall I would say. How many guys are there that can guard 1-4? Singleton
was guarding Conley/Bayless in the 2nd half.

Ryan Anderson would be nice right now with Wall/Beal/Tell/Ariza

I think this serves notice to Teddy and EG after this performance that there will be quality FAs who'll want to come and play with Wall/Beal/Nene/Webster etc.............There should be no reason why they can't bring them in next year!

Unless, you know, maybe because, you know, ummmm... we have absolutely no cap room whatever? To sign anyone?

Whoops! At least it's a dramatic color.
