Sorry for the size of these pictures guys.

That's an interesting look.

If they were to lineup the CF wall with seats, how much deeper would CF be? 5-8 feet?

It would be interesting because the wall would be further and taller.

Looks like about 15 feet. You can see the gap between the outer edge of the warning track and the curtains hanging underneath the black seats.

I like the new look. Seems more like a ballpark now instead of a stuffy indoor dome.

Yeah it looks cool, now all they need is grass.

I'd also like to see them do something creative with the hotel if not just removing it entirely.

Can't wait for the Home Opener!!

Except Rogers does not own the hotel. And beyond that - the hotel does very well and is in no danger of being removed or altered.

Will the renovations affect where the man in the white shirt sits?

Also love the two conflicting tweets about the new concourse.

Blue Jays-Official ‏@BlueJays

No matter where your seat is, fans are encouraged to come and experience the sights and sounds of the new addition to @Rogers_Centre

Please note that the new concourse will be closed for a private function on #HondaOpeningNight.

The view is great though.

Doesn't sound conflicting. You can go see the new concourse, just not on Opening Day

Not long enough. It fits the field but no end zones. BMO is 75 yards x 115 yards. A CFL field is 65 yards x 150 yards (110 yard field + 2 20 yard endzones)

Windows Restaurant, one of the featured attractions when the stadium first opened in 1989, is now windowless. As part of the club’s efforts to put a new shine on its aging sports facility, the long-dormant restaurant has undergone a $2-million renovation. It now offers an unencumbered view of the baseball field, and a place for patrons to walk in during a game, grab drinks and food, and watch the action.

“It’s probably the biggest physical change that people will notice that we’ve ever done here,” said Kelly Keyes, vice-president of building services at Rogers Centre.

Not unless they want to take away a road.

If they extend the field, they remove two city roads within Exhibition Place.

BMO was built as a soccer specific stadium. The Argos can go wherever else they please, but not to BMO.

TFC season ticket holders have paid too much money to install grass in that stadium, the Argos can go rain on someone else's parade.

Not to derail the thread, but Maurice Edu paid for the grass, not season ticket holders.

The only thing the amazing fan support has gotten the club is grass. Sure, Edu's fee paid for it, but I'd like to think our sweat and tears amounted to something.

But I digress,

Send the Argos to Lamport, put grass in the dome, and let's be done with this.
