Looks like no Ty tonight so another -20 game for Andre Miller as he slows the game to a 90 year old pace and a loss for the Nuggets

I am hoping Stone gets more minutes tonight, I like what I have seen from him the last couple of games.

Stone messed up his knee and is out a few weeks.....
The bench playing much better than the starters, need to keep this game close

Y the F do we insist to leave shooters open at the 3 point line....The "I'll let you make that" mentality doesn't work when the F'in team is good at shooting 3's.

gallo you have to take splitter picking up your dribble and giving it to miller at that point was not a good move.... sorry bro.... you have to be more aggressive!

The thing about the Knicks players we got in the trade, all of them are really soft and take months to work back from an injury.

That's a pretty general comment to make, depends on the injury I suppose.
For shooting as bad as we did we played solid D, Mcgee got some burn and showed he deserves more of it down the stretch. Def like to see Gallo take that, or let Chandler drive, he's not as soft as Gallo.

Chill out a little....
How many Spurs games have you watch, they never get called for a lot of fouls. They drained 10 more 3's than we did. We had the ball down one with the chance to win and didn't produce, can't blame that on foul calls...esp IN san an

I didn't see this game but that official has done some highly suspect officiating over the years. He and Joey Crawford bring the drama when they interpret calls in their own way. (I do think both are possibly crooked).
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

The Spurs championship in 2005 was fixed. I recall Manu Ginobili getting superstar calls for flopping on the offensive and defensive end.
Here is my list of how the NBA wants teams to win based on ratings and marketability (2012-2013 season) :
Superstar teams / big markets:
-Miami Heat
-Boston Celtics
-LA Lakers
-LA Clippers
Small market that needs to succeed as an example:
-San Antonio Spurs
-Oklahoma City Thunder
We can't help them win because it would be too obivious:
-New York Knicks
-Golden State Warriors (??)
We helped you in the past, but will not in the future:
-Chicago Bulls
-Houston Rockets
Medium size markets that will be competitive and make the playoffs but have no chance at championship:
-Denver Nuggets
-Memphis Grizzlies
-Indiana Pacers
-Atlanta Hawks

Every time we have the final possession to either win or tie a game, it's a total disaster (minus Lawson's game winner in OKC). Gallinari HAS to realize that he's being guarded by Splitter there and take the ball to the rim.
At least McGee played a great game tonight. I was especially impressed with his man defense on Duncan down the stretch. What do ya know, when he simply stays on his feet and focuses on staying in front of his man, he's actually a competent defender.

I just read that this corrupt ref (Bennnett Salvatore) was behind the 2006 NBA Finals!! WOW
http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_ ... ore-speaks
Salvatore famously made a key call against Dirk Nowitzki in Game 5 of the 2006 NBA Finals after which Dallas owner Mark Cuban held one of the angriest press conferences in history. ESPN's Bill Simmons has named Salvatore the second worst referee in the NBA, and a review of every call of Game 5 by 82games.com found that of the ten debatable calls Salvatore made in that game, an astonishing eight (I'm no math whiz, but that's 80%) favored the Heat -- who ultimately won that game and the championship.

i don't think it was Gallo's fault.
the only fault was to stop dribbling against Splitter, but Gallo watched McGee cutting to the basket and i think he wanted to pass him the ball.
The pass to Miller wasn't bad; his defender was in the defensive help to Gallo, and with first step dribble, Miller got advantage to the basket.
It was a good move (not great) to get a easy basket (layup near the basket), but like the previous layup, he missed it

great analysis on that last play, I agree somewhat, but I felt gallo had a clear advantage on splitter and that play was his for the taking. He has to get into that mindset to take over those kinds of opportunities.. he has the skill, he has the ability, he has to get that through his head.. it is good to be unselfish, but at times he has to be selfish for the betterment of his team... He will learn, hopefully Karl sits him down and shows him the tape and makes the necessary corrections..
with that said, I felt the officiating was horrible.... just lopsided in favor of the spurs....
