True. Likely won't this year though. It's nto wise to rely on other GMs messing up...If I was a GM I would want the highest pick and trust myself to make the right pick...not trust other GMs to mess things up, despite the fact that they seem to do that frequently.

Frank said the status of Andre Drummond (back) and Will Bynum (right hand) remained unchanged.

Drummond has missed 22 straight games, but is a full participant in practices, and it looks as though he has a chance to play Friday.

I say sit knight and dre the rest of the season and secure our draft spot.I really dont want to hear the complaining next season if the fifth pick turns out a homerun and everyone comes out of the woodwork saying (see,we should have lost the last games of the season).There is no point in wining these last few games,lets get a good draft spot and head into next season with our capspace and have something to really look forward to.

Even if Dre does come back, very limited minutes. A top 3 draft pick is really going to help the team - no reason to spoil it now...
