And it begins! GSP lands a supporting role as a villain in the new Captain America.

Man, I really hope GSP doesn't spend the whole movie just laying on Captain America.

Movie won't get off the ground because GSP couldn't finish reading the script.

Etc.

My new addiction is reading threads on the UG about how those dudes find, track, and bust martial arts frauds. Seriously. I've been at this for like 5 hours today. The main one they have going on now is almost too good to be true.

Here is the specific one I'm reading, although I think they have 2 going right now:
http://www.mixedmartialarts.com/mma.cfm ... =1&pc=1390

You have to go to this page to get the summary of the first thread from a few years back. Apparently this is a dude they have already run out before: http://www.mixedmartialarts.com/mma.cfm ... 703&page=8

The guy has claimed black belts under Wallid Ismail, Hermes Franca, some French guy, some Brazilian guy. And he even posts in the thread. Wallid has actually made a youtube video (still active) ranting about how he doesn't even have any black belts, and this guy is a liar and a nobody lol.

I've read these threads before. Hell I've seen videos where guys from the UG have went to these schools and basically called out the instructor / rolled with them or their students, but this one is just ridiculous beyond belief.

What happen to Irvin's pros, BTW? That little black guy and Vera and so on? They stick with him?

All of his top BJJ guys seemed to have left (Keenan Cornelius, JT Torres) except one (DJ Jackson). I have no idea about any of the mma guys except for the fact that I assume that Mike Easton is still with him, as his sister Nyjah is a TLI black belt and stuck there. I know that some of the pros made some comments that they don't really associate with Lloyd when the original story came out and they got some heat on twitter. I want to say that was Cruz but I can't recall off the top of my head. I think Vera was the one who was in super tight with him and has his lineage under him but not sure if he ever addressed it.

As for Lloyd, he discontinued his affiliate program (after all his affiliates left lol) and posted a rant on facebook about how the 'lynch mob' was after him and made it a race thing (as opposed to a r*pe thing). I haven't heard anything since. I guess he also (allegedly) showed up at the Pans this weekend for like part of one day and was wearing a hoodie and just kinda creepin' around discretely lol you can't make this stuff up.

you know that will put butts in the seats
I can understand how you feel. You worked hard, studying for the spelling bee, and I suppose you feel you let everyone down, and you made a fool of yourself and everything. But did you notice something, Charlie Brown? The world didn't come to an end.

Someone was asking if there was a way to watch Bendo at Pans (shaazam?).

They posted one video so far:

Don't embarrass yourself on behalf of the RealGM Boxing/MMA board Pettis fans.

Where was this, at the NAFC event? Sergio won in impressive fashion apparently. He solidified his chances to be on the UFC:Milwaukee card on August 31.

What weight did Anthony seem by feel when you ran into him? 170+?

LOL, I've seen them both a few times at grappling events and such, but never together and never in a setting where it would be unexpected. Oh, and never after tko'ing Cerrone with a bodykick on big fox. :D

It was at a burger joint. I thought to myself it was funny that Anthony was there giving he is supposed to be moving down in weight, but never even considered it was the night before Sergio's fight haha. Man that dude is tiny, and cool as a cucumber given he was going to be fighting the very next night. I'll never understand the mindset.

As for the weight thing, idk impossible to tell, he was wearing a baggy ass sweatshirt.

Gonna lock this up now, since it's about to hit 100 pages and there aren't really any ongoing conversations to interrupt.

Bernman, if you want to know the color and/or brand of the baggy sweatshirt, what kind of burger Pettis ordered, and whether or not he asked them to hold the pickles, you can ask in the next edition of this thread.
