I don't doubt he won't go in the lottery. But I deffinantly think his is a top 20 player in this draft. His age is a concern and he has a low ceiling. But with him having a high floor and him almost single handedly leading Kansas to the sweet 6 his potential as a possible starter or an excellent big off the bench. With this being such a weak class I think he will be one of the better players to come out of this draft.
I don't think he single handedly led KU to the sweet 16. Releford had a great game against North Carolina too, and finally has got on the radar as far as being a late 2nd round pick. Think you're confusing college success with NBA potential. He's 23 years old and still doesn't have a single post move. Hard to see how he translates at the next level as a possible starter, unless he massively improves in that regard. He could be a good defender in the NBA, with his ceiling probably being around Kosta Koufos's level.
Without Aaron Craft, Ohio State would have been gone a long time ago too. Nobody's talking about him in the top 20 range, because scouts doubt whether his game will translate to the NBA. Same issue with Withey. Look at Colin Klein at KSU. Without him, KState is not nearly as successful but he's not getting drafted unless it's real late (6th/7th round). Why? Because his game doesn't translate to the next level.
