The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

So if you dig offense... this might be your game. Entertaining 1st quarter.

Re: Jazz Vs Nets
yep. nice 1st quarter. i'll take any 1st quarter that doesn't involve the jazz trailing by the end of it, like they almost always are.

The Jazz are playing very well, but I look at the scoreboard at halftime and they are behind by 2. Should be an exciting second half.

OMG, I can't live with one more Corbin Season.
If Jazz make the Playoffs, FO will think Corbin is the best and this team is wordelful.
Please, return to the tank mode!!!

Re: Jazz Vs Nets
I'm not sure they could duplicate it often, but that frontcourt of Favors, Millsap and Marvin played really well tonight.

Re: Jazz Vs Nets
when to ball is moving and players are cutting, everything looks good. i think it was less about the lineups and more about how they played tonight.

Re: Jazz Vs Nets
Is it just me or do the jazz seem like they are focused on playoffs???
They been playing some good ball, and even with losses like Spurs, we haven't been doing terrible, i mean there is no excuse for losing so #$#$*&() road games in a row.
For the last couple days including tonight, Jazz own the best winning streak in the West with 4 wins....We did ourselves a huge favor getting this win. We got 38 wins, meaning we just need 3 more wins to hit the .500 mark and we own the tie breaker with all the teams below us who still have a theoretical chance at 8th...
I think its a given that us Jazz fans demand an 8th spot in playoffs, and to win both our home games at minimum!!!

Re: Jazz Vs Nets
I have to admit, so many guys tonight were freaking hot as hell.....
Foye, Favors and Hayward are must have next years no matter what. I think Mo still has some game in him, I would like him to stay even if we splits his time with Burks or a new PG...I just don't know if this years draft has the next Lillard and if so could we even get one since were so awesome and don't get a lottery cause were a playoff team.

Re: Jazz Vs Nets
Marvin Williams played extremely well as slasher. With Paul willing to pass the ball Marvin finished pretty well. This remind me those plays with Anderson, Russell, Brewer in the past. I don't know why they did not use it before.

Because Al is still a subpar passer out it the post. Millsap hasn't been great either.
Big man passing like we saw last night used to be the norm with the Jazz. These days it's the exception.

Re: Jazz Vs Nets
hate to rain, but from what ive seen, the game last night was good because the outcome of the season has yet to be decided. as soon as the outcome become predictable, then the jazz will go back into coast mode.
nothing i have seen this season can convince me otherwise.
until then, i'll keep cheering for them to win every game. and to maybe, someday, develop a killer instinct.

Re: Jazz Vs Nets
Well, I was there in person and I saw lots of things that may or may not show up in a broadcast. Marvin Williams played much of the game in the low post as opposed to floating the perimeter. It was just like watching the three-headed monster of Jefferson, Favors, and Millsap when the team was playing Millsap at the SF position last season. What a refreshing change of pace! Marvin was not just getting those slashes to the basket mentioned earlier. He also picked up several key rebounds. I could sure get used to watching that kind of basketball on a regular basis.
This is how Marvin should have played (or should have been coached to play) all season. The question: Has it been a Marvin mistake or a coaching mistake all year?
