Plan Ab: Andre Iguodala

Post#1 » by tugs » Sun Mar 31, 2013 9:26 am

Per wiretap:

Iguodala declined to guarantee he would re-sign with Denver.

“Obviously, it’s a business, so you’re going to look at your options,” Iguodala said. “Here we have some good (prospects). But I’m not making any promises.”

Plan A obviously is getting Lebron (stretch imo) or someone better next year.

You guys think AI2 is worth acquiring? I know there's the KLove and Rondo plan in 2014 but next year is Kobe's last year and Iggy could be that Pippen lite wing.

Is he worth it? Will future plans be jeopardized? What steps could be made to get him? Do they need to amnesty MWP? Trade Pau?

He would definitely fit into the triangle (if Phil or someone who ran the triangle was coach), but he'll want alot of money and he is 29 years old. Tough to see how he'd be enough to entice Dwight to stay either, or even how you'd acquire him given your cap space is for 2014, not 2013.
