Pistons-Bulls 7pm

Post#1 » by Goldtop » Sun Mar 31, 2013 10:14 pm

Dre/Moose vs Noah/Boozer

Will be a great test to see if this frontcourt pairing really does have potential together.

Plus, if there's 1 game I really want to win and don't care about the tank, its this one. I'm tired of this Bulls dominance over us.

no, I want to win this game.

I agree with the tank, but we have to win SOME of these games down the stretch. I'd rather this be one of them. If we finished the season 0-10 with Drummond/Moose starting that would be really bad for our future. Worse than getting a lower pick, imo.

Plus, if we're going to win a game, better to have it against a contender, instead of against one of the lotto teams we are tanking against.

I understand that, but I don't think it means much if we lose all of the last games
Drummond is coming back from an injury playing 20 mins, and Monroe has checked out

That would not be good. Drummond/Moose are supposed to be the duo of our future that we are building around. If they can't even win 1 game starting together at the end of the season, where a lot of teams aren't even trying, that wouldn't give me much confidence about them next year.

This is a situation where we can gain momentum for next year by winning some of these games. Because its doing it with our young guys of the future. Its different than winning meaningless games with vets like Tay, Maxiell, and Bynum who have no future here, like in years past. I want them to gain some positive experience and know what it feels like to win, instead of going into summer with no confidence and feeling like losers.

This game is an actual confidence booster for next season. We don't want to go into next year with this bulls streak.

Yeah, Drummond is a superstar player in the making. I see a lot people wanting to compare their young C prospects like Leonard, or Kanter, or Jonas V to Drummond and their is simply no comparison to be made. The way Drummond impacts the game defensively and on the glass is phenomenal.

It clearly shows we need a defensive big on the bench. Naturally Monroe+any other big we have doesn't work. Inside D is much more vital than perimeter D, our defense is literally wide open without Drummond. They can get open looks from outside, drive to the basket.

Depending how much he has left, Big Ben would be a great backup C for a year
