Oh please. The Giants don't just go and win championships because of waiver deals after the deadline. The team is as deep as the best in the league, if not the deepest.

Brian Sabean has done a great job building this team, with the exception of some poor contracts earlier in the decade.

the dodgers didnt have chemistry because of a late waiver trade with one month left of baseball.

care to re-comment

No, you should clarify your response to Turco.

yea, i need to clarify.

there's one team out of the two that made a deal at the waiver deadline....only happened to be one of the biggest trades in baseball history.

everybody understands the risk the Tigers took signing two bad defenders to their corner IF positions....those 2 guys are better hitters than Pablo...

yet the Giants are going to do the same thing....in the National League?

k.

if u think the Giants, as good as their FO is, are going to give a 28 year old, fat, butcher of a 3b a 6-7 year 100 million dollar plus deal...go ahead, it's a free country...but don't come back here saying "i told you so"....even if they do it...it's a dumb idea...especially at those numbers.

P.S.
is he even a better defender than Miggy?...srs

I don't think any sane poster here has said that the Giants, or any team, would give him a 6-7 year $100 deal for Pablo. He'll probably get like a 3 year $40-50M by some wannabe team, like the Astros.

glad Buster Olney just came on in the middle of the game and there's "NO CHANCE" the Giants give Panda a long term deal unless his conditioning improves.
