Nothing major, Brandon Knight accidently elbowed J. Butler, and Nate took offense, and began a little shoving match...just something that was completely avoidable..

Also, speaking of Chicago...10 games left, I guess the next time we see D. Rose will be in October?

C'mon, you know he has April 11th circled on his calendar, followed by sitting out the rest of the regular season.

Nate is having his best year yet. He was a great pickup by the Bulls for the vet min. Thy would be nowhere without him.

I doubt he wants to be embarrassed @ MSG. The guy is scared, so you expect him to return @ the biggest stage in th world? No.

Even worse. He probably wants to come back to a lesser game.

That was not accidental.

Accidental or not, the Bulls should not be surprised if someone on another team plays overly physical or throws a cheap shot. That's how they beat Miami to end the streak and likely how they are going to have to play to go anywhere in the playoffs. If I were the Knicks I would work the national media to anonimously point that out so the NBA is ready for it and maybe call the rough housing a little tighter in the playoffs. Miami and Brooklyn should be doing the same. It's really the only way that teams like Chicago and Boston can hope to win and even Indiana will be diminished if they crack down a little on cheap shots and overly physical play. Now I'm not saying that that type of play is wrong (Knicks did it throughout the 90's and it was successful) but from the Knicks, Heat and Nets point of views it would better suit them if the refs didn't allow that type of play and, as a result, give more leeway to offense being favored over defense.

I was thinking yesterday ....

Occam's Razor really explains Rose's absence to a T I bet.

1. He's medically cleared.
2. He's been practicing fully.
3. He hasn't come back to games.
4. He's got very high standards for himself.

Does anybody believe that if Rose was playing really well, if not all the way back but really playing at a high level, that he wouldn't be playing in games?

Suffice to say that if we haven't seen Rose suit up, it's because he doesn't look very good in practice. If he did, he'd be out there. I don't think his or the team's standards are "As good as ever" -- pretty good would be good enough to play and to contribute to wins.

He must be pretty ordinary at best in practice, possibly kind of bad. And that's probably more or less where he'll be through the playoffs. Not that good.

But Boston could be getting locked in to the 7th seed. Do we really want that?

if we need to worry about who we're gonna face in the 1st round we're not any good anyway. rather have the extra home game in round 2.

Milwaukee isn't catching Boston. You just wrote that so you could say Marbury 2.0 because you think that bothers me. It doesn't.

Rings true to me. If the Knicks are any good, beating Boston shouldn't be a major obstacle I suppose.

If I could pick a team, it'd be Atlanta. Give me Josh Smith taking bad shots to close games.

No, I genuinely want Marbury 2.0 to be destroyed by a team he trash talked when we didn't want to draft his scrubiness.

It would be a two-fold joy...because then I'd get to watch the C's make up for lack of equivalent talent by playing a physical and mentally jarring brand of ball against the Heat...that's what's left to test Bron and his teammates because talent wise, I don't see teams lining up.
C- Turner | Wiseman
PF- Hunter |Clowney | Fleming
SF- Strus | George
SG- Bridges | Dick | Bogdanovic
PG- Haliburton | Sasser

I'd rather Milwaukee than Boston but think I'd really rather Atlanta than Milwaukee by a smidgeon.

Boston and Chicago are dangerous for obvious reasons. I think Boston goes at least to 6. Same with Chicago and either could very well go to a 7th which by definition makes the series more or less a tossup.

It's not his fault that we should have taken him. I mean, at the very least, he'd be something of a trade chip. That's better than what we ended up with.

BJ is erratic, I get it. People want black & white arguments. Meaning if I say I like BJ's talent and upside, it means I a) endorse all the things he does and b) think he's perfect? No. The truth is always more gray. Of all the guys who have shown flashes but are not there yet, he'd be high on my list of prospects. That's all.

Do you think Dragic has arrived as a great player? No, but you like him and his talent, etc.
