· 142 games televised nationally across a combination of Sportsnet East, Ontario, West, and Pacific, with the remaining 20 games broadcast on Sportsnet ONE

This get's a massive thumbs up as it is tremendous coverage throughout all there platforms, But if I was nitpicking, one thing I'd have loved to have seen in the past, and especially so this season, would be at least, a 30 minute post game show.

That said, luv the jays in 30 every night, the baseball central @ Noon and the expanded digital coverage as well as the sportsnet magazine writings. Grange and Brunt really help out on that platform in particular.

I agree on the post game show. Would be great for the media scrums after the game.

Jays in 30 is nice, but interested fans will have already watched the game. A post game show would make more sense followed by Jays in 30 later on at like Midnight or even the next morning after Connected at 9.

Ya I don't understand why there isn't one. It would be beyond easy to do. Have Jaime and Gregg do the first segment, maybe until Gibby shows up for his post game presser. 2nd segment could be just Jaime and Gregg going over everything from the game. Third segment have the radio guys come down and join in and chat about all things American league or baseball that night, and lastly get your post game reactions from both teams... Then the show can air following each replay of game in 30. With interest as high as it is, I think a post game show would be a pretty big success.

All that said, i still think the coverage is great, but there's always room for improvement

Sportsnet will also be competing with themselves by airing 77 MLB games on Sportsnet One, 40 head-to-head with a Jays game on the main network.

This is a good hire by sportsnet, an actual baseball guy. Still doesn't make up for hiring Jack Morris or Gregg Zaun or Dirk Hayhurst to important roles and all of whom are complete know nothings.

Nothing would be funnier to me than a Yanks/Sox Sunday nighter where they're both trying to lose for draft position. First ever sub 3 hour Yanks/Sox game.

Anyone hear Zaun on the pregame last night on the radio? In talking about how the clubhouse gets along, he said omething to the effect of..."Lemme tell you about a clubhouse. The Latin guys hang with the Latin guys, the black guys with the black guys, whites, pitches and positions players...." It was just so un-PC of him, lol. Around 5:30pm yesterday, but I can't find the clip on the new website.

I understand the hype coming into this season but Sportsnet needs to tone done some of those commercials like the Metric one. It gets cheesy after a few commercial breaks.

The behind the plate camera is also annoying and a shameless way to draw attention to the sponsors in the outfield.

I'm hoping with a couple of quick losses, the cheerleading can tone down, though I guess if things go the way we want, and the team wins the next 4, the cheerleading will get even worse.

I found it odd at the opening ceremony how they showed on the video screen highlights of sportscasts talking about the moves the Jays made and how they were "going for it". Seems to me that sort of hype should come from outside media, not from a team itself. Teams should focus on what's happening on the field, and just intro the new players to fans with their previous accomplishments.
