Where will Brian Urlacher end up?

Post#1 » by tcorbin » Sat Mar 30, 2013 8:29 pm

The two obvious answers would be Atlanta or New England. Baltimore or Denver could also be a possibility, but Urlacher could surprise everybody and join a division rival with Green Bay or Minnesota. Green Bay or Minnesota are not as strong as Atlanta, New England, Denver, but they are playoff teams and would be a big FU to Chicago.

If I was Urlacher, I'd focus on finding a good fit more than trying to get back at the Bears.

Bears were smart not to re-sign him. His speed and athleticism is gone, he was more of a cheerleader last year than a player.

I think he can still be a useful player for another team.

even on the decline, Urlacher is still better than 70% of the LBs out there

He should join the Texans.... with JJ Watt, and his and Ed Reed's vet leadership, i would make them favorites to win the SB

Noooope. You didn't watch and Bears games last season obviously.

Not to mention he was asking 5 mil, which is ridiculous.

My guess is he will finally end up with Atlanta - if he's smart....they were really good last year and you can smell that they are going to win a SB if not this year then next year for sure!

Next year? Nah, they are setting their team to win this year. Next year is going to be a mess if things don't work out this year, especially with Ryan's extension coming soon.

That window doesn't stay open forever, so I agree about the Falcons putting everything into this upcoming season and not the next.
