Dee Brown

Post#1 » by Blkbrd671 » Wed Apr 3, 2013 2:47 am

In 2011 Dee Brown. was hired to mentor Stuckey and bring him to that next level. Since then , Stuckey is basically the same player he was 2 years ago and knight doesn't seem to have taken a huge step forward like all of us had thought. Roy Rogers noticeably has helped Moose and Dre develop from year to year. Is it time to start looking at another assistant coach?

Yes or no

Why

Who'd we replace him with?

You could make a pretty good argument that Stuckey has regressed.....and Knight hasn't gotten much better.

If we need new coaches, I'd love to see Gores open up the wallet some and get Sam Cassell as our guard coach and Hakeem as our big man coach.

I don't think we know enough about the assistants roles to say if they should get fired or not.
Stuckeys problems could be due to a number of reasons, not just Dee Brown.

i do know they(media) credit roy rogers with Moose's development, i would assume that Dee would get the credit if Stuckey and knight had , had the same development. While Stuckey's problems could be for a number of reasons, there's not one thing that i see stuckey doing that i could credit as improvement. Additionally knight seems like the same player from his rookie year. 1 player maybe, 2 players not so much.

Its literally impossible to blame anymore of Stuckey's problems on coaching. He's had 4 coach's in his career. Its not the coach its him.

You could make a case for Knight's problems being solved with new coaching, but definitely not Stuckey.

I like Roy Rogers. Other than that, all of these assistants can go with Frank this summer when we get a new coach. Dee Brown included.

We need to get Isiah in here to coach these guards, but Joe would never allow it. :-?

At this point, I wonder what Joe thinks could go wrong by hiring some of his Bad Boy teammates that he's avoided hiring his whole career? Its not like it could get any worse.
