Why can't the Hawks sign a 7 footer?

Since Zaza is injured, why can't, or don't the Hawks sign a 7 foot like Keith Benson or Jeremy Tyler as they go into the playoffs?

We could, but neither of those players would get time over Ivan. Just because they are 7-footers doesn't mean they should play. Johan and Ivan would eat both of their lunches any time there was competition for that playing time. I'm not saying that Johan and Ivan are great, but both are better than the other options out there. Also, wouldn't that mean that Shelvin is gone? I think Shelvin helps us more at this point.
