I thought I read last night that Beal and Nene are likely to sit. I really hope the team talks to Nene about losing some weight and taking some pressure off his legs.

Hopefully we see more Price/Wall than Temple/Wall tonight.

I don't think the marginal win or two changes our lotto odds much at this point, Ji. We're going to move up to #2 either way.

was that a typo?

we're NOT going to move up to #2 ?

We have been appeasing the BB gawds with our anti-tank 2013 performance.

I wonder what the lowest seed to move up is? I'm pretty sure we haven't
seen anything like ORL's move to get #1 after getting Shaq the previous year
since they much more heavily skewed the odds after that. But I can't remember
what the lowest seed to move up was. 10th, 11th? 12th?

I think Chicago was 8th when they moved up to #1 for Derrick Rose.

Chicago was 9th in the Rose year, to be precise. The Clippers were 8th when they won it 2 years ago - but we don't think of it because it's the pick that went to Cleveland for Kyrie Irving.

I seem to recall other teams even closer to the back moving up to #2 or #3, but haven't been able to find the documentation online.

So - it's not out of the realm of possibility. And I'm hoping the Okariza trade plus not overtly tanking will give us enough goodwill for Stern to give us a going away present this year.

The raptors have their fair share of wtfs as well: http://www.nba.com/raptors/dancepak/2012-13/main

although considerably better than the Bulls.

I have to run an errand. But I'll be back in an hour to post Luv-a-Bull photos if there's popular board demand or if Miller wants me to.

We already have one vote FOR Luv-a-Bull photos from AFM.

You posted them in the last game thread and that caused Beal to have a season ending injury. It also caused me to have a bad case of projectile vomiting.

Great drive and score by John Wall. I also love the way Wall is drawing fouls and hitting his foul shots. The great players do that. They can't hit 20 shots from the field every night so they rely on drawing a lot of fouls and making those trips to the line count.

Is John Wall becoming a great player?
