Wes Welker, who signed with the Denver Broncos last month, says he recently had dinner with Peyton Manning in Miami.
"We just kind of caught up and talked about the year and different things about the offense and stuff like that. I'll be working with him next week and start to get that process going," Welker said.
The wide receiver signed a two-year, $12 million deal with Denver.
Welker added that he remains in contact with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
"Tom's one of my good friends, and we stay in contact quite often," Welker said.
