Bynum Hasn't Ruled Out Re-Signing With 76ers

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Apr 3, 2013 10:41 pm

Andrew Bynum has not ruled out re-signing with the Philadelphia 76ers once free agency begins on July 1, according to the player's agent.

"I don't see why not," Bynum's agent, David Lee, said when asked whether or not Bynum would consider signing an extension with the 76ers this summer. "I still feel like the ball is in their court."

Bynum, who had arthroscopic surgery on both knees last month to remove debris, hasn't played a single game for the 76ers after coming over in a trade with the Los Angeles Lakers last August.

"Philadelphia has been terrific to us – from [majority owner] Josh Harris to [CEO/co-owner] Adam Aron to [general manager] Tony DiLeo," Lee said. "The only way that Philadelphia would not be an option would be if they decided that they wanted to go in another direction."

Why would he have ruled out re-signing with the Sixers...? He just got paid a crap load of money to sit on their bench for a season, so why would he not tender offers to re-sign with them? I think this is backwards, it has to be, the headline should read 'The 76ers Still Have Not Ruled Out Re-Signing Bynum'...

You should have all bowling alleys closed down in Philadelphia.

lol right?

The guy should be begging the 6ers for another chance... show some pride Andrew. You screwed that franchise with your bowling stunt, at least give them a year. Sign a nice deal with them and ask for a trade in a year at worst... give them a fighting chance to recoup value.
