I was excited for this game and liked our chances until I saw that Devin harris will once again be sitting out. We don't have much of a chance without him bc it leaves Teague as the only guy that can create off the dribble.

We's in PRIMETIME,y'all.

New drinking game:

Take a shot everytime Josh shoots a long two-pointer.

That's one shot. 90 seconds in.

Agressive Teague is on the floor tonight.

Scoreboard reflects as much, with a 10-2 lead for the Home team.

It looks like Teague turnovers will get you to the finish line quicker.

LOL. Either way ends with me drunk and cursing at the TV before halftime.

JT0 is being REALLY aggressive tonight. For better and worse.

On a side note, Justin Upton just crushed his 2nd homer for the year. This is going to be a good year to be a Braves fan.

Korver's a beast.

Not fair to ask Josh to guard Melo.

We need a Center. Particularly one with a strong post game. We haven't had an effective post player on the roster since...Shareef.

(AL Jefferson would be much more effective on the block than our current options.)

Josh is 0/7 from the FT line. Ouch.

That could come back to bite us in a tight game, tonight.

Knicks are really good defensively.

The Knicks are god awful defensively. They aren't winning because of D. We are missing freethrows(well, Josh is) and Korver has missed a few WIDE open three's.

We are playing better defensively, but Melo is killing it.

Drew played a line up of Mack, Stevenson, Korver, Tolliver and Johnson in the second quarter...yeah...lets not do that again.

I respectfully disagree. They're keeping Josh and Horford from getting going in the paint, they're effectively doubling Josh in the post. Their rotations are really good. They are limiting our fast break points.

Our defense is disappointing seeing as we know Melo is going to do the lion's share of the scoring. Doubling Melo and forcing the othe Knicks to beat us should be the strategy after watching him drop 50 last night. He;s well on his way to matching that with 24 points at halftiime.

Their team as a whole is shooting 48%. And have scored 20 points in the paint. They are controlling the paint on both ends.

Shumpert and Tyson are both better defenders than any player on our team.

Games like this remind me of how much we miss Zaza.

Size and toughness. We need it in spades.

Shumpert has missed about 20 rotations, they aren't rotating at all really, they aren't getting back on the break, they simply aren't doing anything well defensively except stepping out on Horford. We are taking the ball out of the basket which is why we haven't been able to exploit these things as much but their perimeter D has been atrocious and rotations are bad hence us getting in the penalty so quickly in each quarter.

I was really getting angry at the Hawks not going with Ivan/Novak as the OBVIOUS mismatch there.

I don't see it, RIP.

I see great post defense, help defense, fast break defense. They are forcing turnovers and giving our bigs tons of trouble.

Teague and Korver are the only players that seem capable of anything.

(I say this as JR Smith drives past Horford for an easy layup.)

Larry Drew comes out and yells at Teague for Horford not stepping over on the pick and roll on 2 straight possessions.

And our bigs are nowhere in position for an offensive rebound. I see 4 blue jerseys converging in the paint after every missed ATL shot. While Josh and AL are 16-18 feet away.

Man, we need a big body Center. Whose goal and purpose is to rebound, block shots and give hard fouls.

Yet another steal by NY in the paint.

They've even shut down the Josh/AL plays.

AL CAN'T EVEN GET THE BALL!

Their defense is amazing. Seriously. Top notch.
