This game looks like the "before" portion of a 5 Hour Energy commercial. Its like they all went out and partied too late or something.

Wittman should come in off the timeout with Wall, Price, Martin, Ariza and Nene. Go small. Spread the floor. Hope somebody can hit some 3's.

Maybe the Beal news brought everyone down or something.

Gotta hope the Wiz are just tired. Otherwise... Ugh.

Yup. These games happen every now and then. There's a reason why even really good teams lose games. We're not all that good of a team. We're going to lose more.

Easily the worst half of basketball we've played the last month. 26 points in one half

This is an indication of how bad things will look without Martell Webster. Gotta resign him. (I know he played tonight, but he hasn't been the Martell Webster of the first 60 games.)

Raps just pack the paint and don't close out on shooters. There's a reason why Beal torches them every time we play.

Good foul by Wall. If they're going to try to dunk in garbage time, make 'em pay for it.

Yup. We're just missing our two best shooters, and two of the very best in the game. Beal is hurt and Webster is playing hurt. It makes a big difference. As bad as we've played, if we shoot our typical 8-18 from 3-point range rather than 5-18, we'd be winning.

Booker, Vesely, and Seraphin combined for 9 fouls in 29 minutes and made a combined 1 of 4 from the field. They are an amazingly inept group of backup bigs.

Valanciunas shot 18 free throws.

I'm not sure if that means he's really good, the refs really suck, or we really didn't show up to play defense. Probably a bit of all three.

If we suck this bad on the back-end of a back-to-back, how bad will they be with 4 games in 5 days?

Yup. Not pretty. Vesely with a typical night for him. 4 minutes, 2 fouls, -11

That was disgusting game to watch but an important lose.

Had they won, it would be pretty tough to get back into the high draft slot range.

Now they are mathematically out of the playoffs.

Time to shut down Nene. He is playing like an old man that can't jump.

Time to get Ves and Kevin more minutes.

I would say shut down Webby as well except they need someone to help spread the floor. But right now he isn't even doing that so they might not have a choice.

Things could look really ugly from here on out. We had a nice taste of winning. Now its time to think bigger picture. Beal is done. Shut this thing down and go get a draft pick.
