While I am at it (posting pictures) this is the local watering hole. That guy in the window obviously didn't handle it too well. HAR HAR HAR

There you go :D

Image

This is the one I usually work at, as in 5-6 days a week.

Image

This is another one. It was recently taken as I fondly remember that evening. However, I'm apparently not on this picture :(

Image

This is pretty much the only picture I could find of the other restaurant over at the tiny fishing village where I was stuck in the past few days. I only work there on special occasions or maybe this summer again. Otherwise, the restaurant there is closed.

Image

And while I was browsing for pictures I stumbled upon this picture of a concert that was held at our restaurant. The gal on the far left is the gal I'm currently seeing :D

Oh, here's a picture of me actually working.

Image

See that handsome fella in the kitchen window?

Spoiler:
That's our chef and boss. I'm the dude with the black shirt and hair in the center of the picture.

Nice. That's not at all what I pictured it looking like. I was imagining something more rustic looking as it's a small fishing town. Wish I could get over there for dinner. :(

The other one, out at the actual coast, is our dining restaurant and it looks more rustic than the one here, which is more of a lunch restaurant and café, but as I said there are hardly any pictures online.

Edit: by the way, if you should be bored at work one fine day here's a link to more than one thousand pictures of this tiny old fishing village I had spent the past few days in

Cool. Judging by the clientele of your restaurant, the average age of that town is about 25.

No, not really. It was a special night suited for people from 20-45 years of age. There's plenty of older folks around here. But, unlike in Germany, there's no lack of kids, either. Then again there are many young people who move into the big cities further south. There's more money to be made and stuff.

Speaking of which, the father of a co-worker and godfather of my bosses' first born son told me the other day how much money he makes. Freaking ridiculous. I mean he's an engineer but $70 an hour? Because he works in southern Norway and they (his bosses) want their employees to be happy they also pay for two weekly flights and stuff.

Couldn't find anything on google but I assume they must be making at least 50 grands a year, if not more.

Well that's not near enough considering the cost of living. It'd be fun to do a summer exchange or something, though.

I wonder what percent of GB posters actually watch basketball games. I'm going to go with less than 25%.

Is it already? We're suppose to get 1-3 inches tonight, then snow or rain/snow every day this week. I think spring will some sometime in July this year.

When you're illiterate, you can't very well read the schedule to find out when games are on, can you?
