Guy's, on the board banning and baiting and general going on's on the GB:

Just because someone doesn't agree with you that our players are better than they might think they are doesn't mean they are wrong. People are entitled to their opinions. Some of you seem to really have your nose out of joint over tsherkin. I reviewed a lot of the threads on the GB that are in question (which I DID NOT enjoy - I don't like the GB. Too many knobs) and I can see the frustration.

I reached out to tsherkin and had a conversation with him tonight. I expressed there was a feeling from some of our fans that they were being singled out tsherkin has said this is not the case (and I believe him, I see ALL the bans he hands out and they do not discriminate) however he is now mindful of the how you are feeling.

That being said, as I mentioned above, just because someone doesn't agree with you on the GB that doesn't make them wrong. When ever you are on that board, carry yourself with dignity and post with respect. Don't get dragged into p*ssing matches or nastiness. We don't want to start being viewed as a fan base that will rival fan bases like the Raptors or the Knicks or the Pistons.

And the way some of those threads are reading, some of you are presenting us that way.

If you don't like the way a thread on the GB is going just walk away.

I think your probably right JT.

I couldn't mod the GB it would do my head in. I would just suspend everyone to get some peace.

I don't have a problem with any of my suspensions or anyone elses but locking that particular thread because you said something highly controversial and lock it when people ask you to defend the statement it is about as low as a mod can go. unfortunately when I ask to him to explain that particular action he gets completely butthurt and starts calling ME out on irrelevant things that have nothing to do wth anything since I didn't even actually participate in the Hendo topic instead of explaining his own actions. obviously he didnt post in the thread to say why is was locking it as is the case in almost every other locked GB thread i've seen, just locked randomly

that particular action is undefendably lame

He even locked the thread I made on the Feedback board asking why the thread was locked. Picked arbitrary warnings you and I got like more than six months ago (mine was a response to a stupid thread that got locked anyway), as if that had something to do with the question at hand. tsherkin's lost A LOT of respect from me over the last week or so. He also gave a garbage excuse for Sik's suspension.

With all the negative news going on about mods here I thought it would be privy to mention that a mod stood up for me today in nabbing some baiters.

Not a single Bobcats poster has any issue with any mod not named tsherkin.

My suspension was garbage I agree and not justified at all.

Like sik said, I've not had a problem with a single mod anywhere on realGM. In fact, I haven't seen any other poster anywhere on realGM have any beef with a mod (minus the Raps board, they're in their own world). It's almost always tsherkin vs. someone. Shouldn't that tell him something?

Not true. You and HartfordWhalers had an interaction on June 21st 2012.

Sik Infant had run ins with alucr Oct 14th 2011 as well as Blame Rasho.

Either way, you guys really need to let this go and move on. It's not healthy for you to be so hung up on a general board of an NBA message board!

The only run in I've had is with Alucryts (Chicago mod) in a thread I started on Mayo v Asik (Who is more valuable) 2 years ago!

I'm talking 4/5/1 Asik here too.

I don't know what Blame Rasho run in I had.

My run-in with tsherkin was b/c he said something incredibly stupid (I think it was about Gerald Wallace) and my reply was a gif of Tracy Morgan emphatically saying no. I didn't realize that posting funny gifs in lieu of typing something was against the rules b/c A) Everybody was seemingly doing this with impunity and B) you need a Law degree and a decoder ring to fully understand the posting rules on the GB. I didn't have a problem with him enforcing the rules on me so much as the petulant tone in which he rebuked me. Didn't care for it all and I told Howard Mass precisely that.
