Cleveland announced that Scott Kazmir will be placed on the 15-day DL with a right rib cage strain. He suffered the injury while playing catch earlier this week.

Indians manager Terry Francona said that prospect Trevor Bauer will be promoted from Triple-A Columbus to start in place of Kazmir against the Rays on Saturday, according to an MLB.com report.

Should have never had Kazmir over Bauer in the first place. I wouldn't have traded Bauer in a fantasy baseball league had he broke camp with the team. :lol:
