You're not a real fan if you don't think that a slightly tweaked ankle is the end of the season. Just IMO.

Can't I just delay the panic until tomorrow...at least until we get news that he won't be in the lineup for Farrell Fest? Would that be cool?

Wait...you want to hold off on panicking until such time that it would be somewhat logical to panic? GTFO.

I don't even see the problem with a good pre-panic, panic.

I would enjoy watching logical panic, personally.

Perhaps you guys are right. It's never too early for a good panic.

This could be a good thing for the team to rally around, if he's out for a game or two. The offense will hopefully start firing on all cylinders.

3 Jays homers (and a couple of theirs :( )were hit almost right underneath us. Great game, happy to get the monkey off our backs.

GO JAYS GO!

Yup, calling the game a mixed bag for Buerle is probably being too nice. I did like some of what I saw out of him, but he hung far more key pitches than is reasonable.

144 users checked in by voting on the poll.

That's pretty damn good. Almost as many as the Roll Call thread.

I figured he wasn't going to be that awesome. I saw him in ST and he was barely hitting low 80's with his fastball.

I think he will still pitch 200 innings but I think it will be a much higher ERA than expected from a guy making 12M this year and 18M in the next 2.

Buerle will be right around what you'd expect. 4.50ish ERA and he'll pitch a ton of innings.

This start is pretty typical of what happens when he struggles. Lots of quick innings then a blp here or there.

The bats are coming and thats what matters. Im really excited to see Johnson pitch tonight. I think him and Morrow are going to be our best options all season.
That's what she said.
