Sixers vs Hawks 04/05/13

Since there is no thread.

Hawks down 11 right now as Philly is hot coming out. All fools gold if you ask me with everyone hitting anything they put up, defended or not.

I expect us to be back in this game be halftime.

At this point, I would expect Drew to start throwing games and rest his starters.

Health and rest are more beneficial than playing for the 5th or 6th seed.

We saw Boston do it last spring. Drew did it two years ago. Both of those previous teams made it past the first round.

It also could help us move up a couple of spots in the draft, so....bring on the losses.

Hawes and Turner combined for 41 points and 23 rebounds.

I still maintain that had we traded Josh for those two, they'd have done very well on our team.

We played like trash tonight. Our starters were totally unmotivated, as shown when Rathbun caught Horford hollering at his own guys to hustle. We made a lot of 6ers players look good tonight.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.
