@mcscotty

Free.
My parents are gold members ticketmaster exchange.
They were quarterly season ticket holders for a couple seasons in the past.

They have gone to some of the best Laker games ever.
Memphis/LA is like nothing to them lol

How can anybody in good conscience say the Lakers are getting favorable treatment after the incident at the end of the Atlanta game? That foul was as egregious as any missed all season yet they forget all about arguments that poke holes in their little theories and just keep harping on the meritless ones that loosely support their bogus claims! Gtfo haters!!! ;)

To be fair, that Rubio incident was a foul. The one with Cousins? I don't think so. That's a good no call. But to say that Howard fouled Conley on the last play? Man, that's mess up!

Haters gonna hate.

TyCobb wrote:In all seriousness, this team should have came into the season feeding off of Gasol and Bryant, not Howard and Nash.

The point was to have Kobe off ball dominant to stop the double teams and everyone thought Howard's offense was miles ahead of what it actually is.

The first part of the season Nash was a turnover machine & wouldn't shoot the ball. Then once he started showing glimpses of the real Nash he went down again.

With Howard's offense he's pretty much been exposed as a better than average hustle player with barely any post play.

Pau had majorly underachieved in the past two post seasons so it wasn't a bad idea to try. Now that we see what actually is as opposed to what was thought, we have to go back to what formerly brought us success.

Is there any good reason mwp should be starting or playing over clark? EC does nearly everything better and adds a big boost of athleticism to a team sorely needing it. Im very concerned MDA will give ron his regular minutes back when he returns.

WTF type of GT is this ?

Anyway good win last night. Shouldn't have come down to last possessions like it did, since at one point they led by 13. The Lakers have to get out of their minds that teams will just lay down just because they're down. Memphis is too good for that.

Time to get Sunday's game, especially with the Clippers having some infighting. I always knew it would creep up in their locker room at some point. That's only the beginning of that facade of a team cracking.

Not afraid of them one bit. The key to beating OKC is simple........real simple....

Control tempo
Rebound on the defensive glass
Keep the interior closed off from penetration

And much to everyone's disbelief we don't have to stop Durant, the key is disrupting Westbrooks game. If Kobe decided to check him for an entire series we have a better than good chance. Remember last years playoffs against them wasn't the runaway train people tried to make it out to be. Execution in the final minutes of all those games cost us. We could've stolen Game 2 and we forked over Game 4. Bottom line is we made mistake in that series and it cost us. I would love nothing more than to crush their dreams of a championship.

Bring it......ain't nobody scared of them. At least I'm not.

Great win - man, this team can looks so good at times and then --- phhhhhhfffft

EZ back in form, with the usual rookie blunders here and there but he brings so much. He needs to stay in the starting lineup. (Before anyone jumps on 'rookie' - yes, I know, 4th year, but he got so little run in PHX and with the magic, this is like a rookie season, the minutes and pressure he's had.)

It was a great win indeed. Earlier in the year we would have blown this game and let Memphis out of Staples with a W.

Going into last night's game I felt if the Lakers came away with a victory it would be enough to prove to me they could compete with the best teams in the West. Well I'm almost convinced. Lol the game got too close at the end for my comfort. As wishy washy as it may sound now I'm reserving judgment on our team for tomorrow's game against the Clippers. Conley gave had a very good game and I expect CP3 to do the same tomorrow. If we can scratch and claw an fight and get the W we should be able to get into the playoffs.

Sunday's game is absolutely do or die must win at all costs! (Sorry if I sound like a broken record)

Kobe's minutes have been ridiculous.. Let that Darius Morris kid get a few minutes of burn. He can run around like a chicken with his head cut off until he runs out of gas and then Kobe can be out back into the game. Anything but another 46 minute night for Kobe please. Keep it at 41 or 42 mins tops!

Good win but losing 2 big leads wasn't good.

Gotta clean up turnovers.

Absolutely turnovers have plagued us all year long and if we don't clean them up we won't likely make eplayoffs let alone make any noise once we get there.

Above and beyond the turnovers there's another problem our team has that has cost us many games and is, IMHO, the difference between us being an ok team and a great team. That problem is our inability to consistenty knock down shots from the perimeter. Dwight and Kobe command tons and tons of defensive attention and on any one possession we almost have a player wide open beyond the arc but when the ball gets swung to that player the shot doesn't fall with enough consistency to make other teams pay for doubling Kobe and Dwight. In other words we're a crappy shooting team. Plain and simple and with teams able to play zone defenses you have to be able to consistently knock down outside shots to be able to compete in today's NBA! Can't shoot? Can't win!

I agree. Look at a team like Miami. They are stupid stacked with 40% and up 3pt shooters. Our team probably gets as many open looks from three as Miami does, the difference is they have Allen, Battier, Miller, Chalmers, LeBron, and even Lewis to knock them down. We have Blake, Meeks, and sometimes Nash or Jamison..

OKC, the Clips, and Spurs are also loaded with shooters.

What puts those teams over the top IMO is that their spot up shooters can do a lot of other things really, really well. If Battier's shot isn't falling he gives all NBA defense, Allen can produce respectably in assists and rebounds, Miller is a very good rebounder, Chalmers is a fast pg with very quick hands, etc.
