This guy only had one good year. Is it safe to say now he's a one year wonder ?

Three good years, actually, if we're counting.

Had more than one good year. But this morning on Sports Reporters, Steve Simmons did say that thru the WBC and Spring Training and first start, Dickey didn't look like a Cy Young winner.

steve simmons is an idiot and knows nothing but hockey. he knows bits of all sports enough to comment on anything he can.

the move was risky, not because of his age and his only recent success, but because he's a knuckleballer. he'll get figured out most of the time.

I know it's his second start but he quite frankly looks terrible out there.

...so it is your contention that people "figure out" knuckleballers?

Dickey looks garbage out there still to early to give up

He was in National League give him some time to adjust to AL hopefully he can adjust sooner than later. So far I am disappointed

No. Thread makes no sense either considering 2010 and 2011.

ZOMG time to panac!

What can you say, you just gotta laugh and say "Forget it, Jake. It's Toronto."

I'll give him time. Maybe it's the cold weather lately?

Problem isn't whether Dickey is a one year wonder rather the price AA paid to acquire him and the expectations on him to continue to pitch at '12 levels.

Knuckle ballers can be hit and miss. I think he just needs to work on his pitch location at the moment and he should be good.

Spot on.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."
