God damn, Melo is overrated as all hell. He's being ranked as the 3rd best player in the league by some people, he's being discussed as comparable to Durant...it's crazy.

He's finally playing like a top 10 player this year...fantastic. Let's stop comparing him to obviously better players.

I'd say he's got an argument anywhere after Lebron, Durant and CP3, although all 3 of those guys are on a totally different level from the rest of the league and actually from each other.

It's something like:

1. Lebron


2. Durant



3. CP3

4.
5.
6.
7.
etc. to about 14.

Personally I'd take Harden, Wade and Kobe over him on the year and as an in general going forward and a 90% + Dwight as well.

Deron, Love, TD, Parker and LMA can be, have been, and/or are about equal to him overall, but he's having a better year then all of them in different degrees for the most part.

Kyrie is on the come up and Blake Griffin as well, who is probably closer in impact although Irving is probably a touch more talented with a higher ceiling by a touch.
