A. Davis / J. Hill / Q. Miller
A. Bynum / H. Thabeet / J. Adrien

-I intend to bring back both Henderson and Budinger.
-I like my starting unit a lot. It would take an extremely tempting offer to trade any of them.
-I like my second unit as is, but am a little more flexible to deal here, especially at PG, PF, C.
-I like my third string SG, and SF, but not really attached to any of them.
-I am willing to stand pat on trades for remainder of game if nothing satisfactory comes up.

since you signed a free agent from another team you no longer have any rights to bud/hendo, they are now unrestricted free agents...

They are RFA, he still has them and can go over the cap for them too.

that how it works... to sign a player away from another team you have to renounce your rights to all your players. if u didnt u could have like 5 RFA's then before they are signed you could sign paul and dwight with your capspace then match all your rfa's offers and have a 80 or 90 mill team thats stacked. cant do that

No, thats where cap holds come into play.

bness888 is right. NO can re-sign Gerald Henderson and Chase Budinger, and still go over the cap.

Minnesota will be putting all offers on hold right now as we wait for Tier 2+3 of FA.

In the meantime we will be actively listening to offers for Kevin Love for the next 24 hours only. This doesn't mean I will definitely trade him, but it could be an option. Keep in mind I value his as potentially the best PF in the league. 26/14 last season. This year he's been hampered by successive hand injuries (which are now fully recovered) and has been closed down for minor surgery with the Wolves having nothing to play for. Despite his injuries affecting his shot, he still pulled down ~15 rebounds per game.

Actually, he would have to waive the caphold on Gerald Henderson.

Prior to signing Bynum, he had $39,633,433 in salary and capholds.
Signs Bynum for $18,000,000 and has $2,366,567 in remaining cap space.
Then trades for Gerald Green ($3,500,000) using cap space.
So therefore he has to waive the caphold of Henderson to take on Green's salary (still has hold on Budinger) or release a few ungauaranteed contracts to make up the difference in cap space ($1,133,433).

Up to here, it's fine- he can keep the holds on hendo and bud.

But this would just be an invalid deal, since he didn't have 3.5M in cap. Either redo the deal or waive cap holds on someone worth ~1.1M

Finally I figured out where you're coming from.

I had a clerical error in my spreadsheet, and somehow forgot to include the bottom two guys in my figure. It has been addressed. I will see if I can rework my deal with ATL.

I'm shopping one of Meyers Leonard and Andrew Bogut. Looking for a legit offer, preferably either a PG, SG, or SF.

if the rumors are true and Portland has signed Igggy we still would have $1.5mil in cap and could take a cheap player off your hands for some future compinsation

All tier 2 free agents have signed with the Raptors for the minimum. Could not pass up the opportunity to be gm by possibly the goat.

Did you waive all your cap holds first?
