There was that giant thread where you virtually signed your name on which player the Bulls should take or who you thought would be better. Rose won by a good bit, but there was a very sizeable group who wanted Beasley. I'd estimate it at 60/40 Rose. A lot of people thought Beasley would be a 20pt/10reb player his first year and be a double-double machine.

There were even threads asking how we could somehow get both picks to get Rose AND Beasley

Yep it was a no-brainer for the Bulls FO apparently, but here we were very divided and there were good arguments for both players at the time. Doug had a complete podcast for either guy and I don't know if you can still download them but he also had solid arguments for both players. It would be fun listening to again.
