This. I don't appreciate people questioning OP's integrity. I take it as a shot at me. You're more than welcome to sit out of the next game and commish it if you don't like the way this one is ran.

Unfortunately, I think I'll have to step in. I was trying to get a hold of roc or Gremz to see if they'd be willing to help me out, but no luck. I'll post more about it tomorrow.

Also, if you don't like losing FA, don't take the risk and trade for them.

If you don't like missing out in the FA part of the game, don't make cap space, trade for guys who are under contract.

It's simple.

Then u shouldnt have gutted ur team for basically just Lebron and assume every tier 1 guy would fall in ur lap.

Just a reminder to everyone.

Players signed to maximum contracts cannot be traded.

At all, ever, for the rest if the game.

It's in the rules we all signed up.

Thank you.

It just sucks cuz from what I've seen the stars follow the other stars to the good markets so I was prepared to not get a tier 1 guy but when u go for 3 guys in tier 2 and they go somwhere else for the same money to not join the MVP in just a little surprised as to what more I could have done.aside from having the MVP ( and its not like my team is gutted I have assets in kemba,Tristan,Amir,Jeff Taylor and others so what more could have I done really? Dwight costs 20.5 mill which leaves only 39 to work with I think I have the best team 39 mill can buy lol

I was pissed too that I didn't get Dwight. I offered max contracts thinking that New York City maybe the spot for one of the tier 1'ers. But it's okay. I was sore about it at first too. But you can't win em all!

I've been wanting to keep my opinion out of this, but I'm tired of hearing about this. You clearly overvalue your players way too much. At this point in time, Kemba is a very inefficient scorer and isn't a great passer or rebounder. Thompson at this point is an average power forward whose living more off of his draft status, and Amir Johnson and Jeff Taylor are role players. You win some, and you lose a LOT when you try and dabble in free agency.

Okay, so here's the deal with Tier 3.

All the free agents EXCLUDING Gerald Henderson need to have the offers sent to me. In this format

Subject: Team Name - Player

Contract Offer

ALL offers for Gerald Henderson are going to be sent to bness.

His e-mail is Cantmesswithness8@yahoo.com

Any questions, don't hestitate to ask.

FA for Tier 3 will close on Friday at NOON EST.

There are 30 teams and one Dwight. That should be enough explanation. Dwight was my preference too, but it's tough in free agency.

Enough of this discussion flooding this thread, if people want to discuss it more let's go to the OLD free agency thread.

Noticed that Brandon Jennings is already on New York's roster page.

He's a RFA

Portland has 48 hours to match if they so choose.

I put it up as a cap hold for now as I make offers to the next tier of free agents.

A little pissed at how this has all went down...

You should've sent separate emails for each guy like I said. Only got your Al Jeff and Dwight offers, which I didn't bother to reply to since they were re-signing with their teams for five-year deals.

Don't blame me coz you couldn't send an email properly, lulz.

When the **** was Portland guaranteed Iggy?

There are only a finite number of FAs and teams with cap space. Honestly, this has gotta be like your first time playing GMATs if you offer anything less than the max for guys like Monta/Iggy/Smoove. Just look at the number of teams with max lol.

It's really common sense at this point.

TMACFORMVP wrote:We waive our bird rights to Jarrett Jack to sign Kevin Martin. We do this because we really like BEVERLEY as our backup PG, and feel Martin fits our team better. BTW, I need to use this post to hype up Beverley too. He's a rookie PG with a 3:1 AST/TO ratio, intense defensively, and leads all guards in the NBA in ORB%. He also shoots over 38% from three, and has consistently been blocking shots too. His PER36 are roughly 12/5/6.5 with 2 steals and over a block per game. Rockets are also considerably better defensively when he's on the floor.

Name change request: BEVERLEYFORMVP

Anyways, I think this post is about Kevin Martin.

Contract details are as follows:

$7,750,000
$8,098,750
$8,447,500
$8,796,250
$33,092,500

You HATE Kevin Martin, what happened TMac? This is like me signing Bargs if he was a FA, I would hate myself for it even if it helped my team. You should be ashamed MacDaddy.
